World of Warcraft Classic: Bugs That Aren’t Bugs

Blizzard has decided to take us back 13 years into the World of Warcraft universe with a version of the game called Classic which should hopefully be released on August 27th. It will be available free of charge to all subscribers.

In the meantime, some players were able to play it this weekend through a closed beta, but in return, they had to report the various bugs they encountered. Something made by the beta testers, except that the main bugs are not bugs, enough to make the players of the first days smile.

Not a Bug List

In a recent post on Blizzard’s US forum, the community manager gave a list of bugs that aren’t really bugs and thanked the community for playing the game. Here is the famous list of 13 bugs that are not bugs:

  • Tauren’s hitboxes and their melee range are slightly larger than those of other races.
  • Being hit critically while sitting does not activate the enraged, bloodthirsty and retaliatory abilities.
  • The use of “Automatic Quest Tracking” does not automatically track recently accepted quests. Instead, it will start following an existing quest as soon as you progress towards a goal.
  • Warrior regeneration is working as planned
  • Objectives and points of interest are not shown on the map or mini map.
  • Completed quests are marked with a dot on the mini map and not with a “? »
  • Players and frightened NPCs run very fast
  • When you are above the other players, it is possible to use spells and attacks
  • Creature reappearance rates are much slower than in Battle for Azeroth.
  • NPCs that offer multiple quests will display them inconsistently as dots or “! ” in the list of available quests. This was reproduced as in patch 1.12 at the time
  • Low-level quests do not appear as “! »
  • Available quests are not displayed on the mini map with “! »
  • As soon as you level up, the message “your Protection skill increases by 15” appears, it was added to patch 1.12 and will be kept.
