I was about to go on a blind test drive.

While I didn’t need to test this on a two-hour journey from Philadelphia, the simple on/off aspect of Crocs would be a dream on a long-haul international aircraft for excursions from your seat to the restroom.

Crocs’ major selling point is still their comfort. In my Crocs, I walked 87,777 steps in four days in Florida, which is nearly 40 miles. My feet stayed pain-free, and my legs and back benefited from the firm, supportive footing. The Nikes I brought were never worn. I’ll probably leave them at home on my next vacation.
