Walter, Stephen Andrew pleaded guilty Monday to distributing fentanyl tablets, which led to a fatal overdose of rapper Mac Miller in 2018, according to a petition filed in California. Walter, Stephen Andrew pleaded guilty to one count of fentanyl distribution.
Following the application transaction, Walter notified a broker on September 4, 2018, that he had supplied counterfeit oxycodone pills containing the synthetic opioid fentanyl. The broker, according to the affidavit, handed the tablets to Miller’s dealer, who then gave them to Miller. He died three days later of “mixed drug poisoning” caused by fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol, according to the coroner.

McMiller’s drug dealer is identified as Walter, Stephen Andrew. He was indicted and two others in the 2019 case: Cameron James Pett, 28, of West Hollywood, and Ryan Michael Reeves, 36, of Hawasso, Arizona. Walter, Stephen Andrew is reportedly 46 years old. He, along with two others, conspired to distribute poison to McMiller.
“It has become normal for us to witness drug traffickers selling counterfeit fentanyl medications,” U.S. Attorney Nick Hannah said in a statement announcing his charge in 2019, according to Reuters. Fentanyl is currently the biggest cause of death in the United States as a consequence of this.

As mentioned above, Walter, Stephen Andrew could face up to 20 years in prison. He also faces a 1 million fine. The trio shot McMiller three days before he was found dead, the prosecution said in its latest report. They also allegedly supplied the multi-platinum wrapper with cocaine and Xanax. According to legal documents, Walter was well aware that the bullets he was giving Pett were deadly. Pett then administered medication to McMiller.

However, he supplied the rapper fraudulent medications, which resulted in his death.
