As production of the sequel to Split began yesterday, M.Night Shyamalan’s new movie begins to unveil itself via a synopsis.
A crossover
While the end of the first part hinted at a possible crossover between Split and Unbreakable, also a classic made by Shyamalan, the latter had confirmed the information a few months ago And the official synopsis confirms the roles of Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson in this film.
Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn, as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, also known as Mr. Price. Glass. From Split, we find James McAvoy taking over his role as Kevin Wendall Crumb and the many personalities that reside in him as well as Anya Taylor-Joy, the only captive who survived the Beast.
Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn chasing the Beast, a superhuman figure from Crumb, in a succession of intense encounters while Price operates in the shadows and has vital secrets about the two men.
A much-awaited double suite
This sequel to the two films is eagerly awaited by fans. WhileUnbreakable is considered one of the best productions of Shyamalan, Split marks the return of the Indo-American director to the forefront. So he decided to kill two birds with one stone and make a film bringing together two beloved worlds.
