The NBA Twitter had a very exciting week following the 2021 NBA draft and meeting some of the players who will begin their professional careers this season. One of the biggest headlines of the draft was West Virginia’s Kisre Gondresic, who was selected fourth overall on Thursday.
She has already made headlines with her reaction to her appointment to the Indiana Fever. When she came home and saw the project, she heard it and went absolutely crazy, just like her mother. It was an incredible moment for a young girl who is one of the brightest prospects in this recruiting class.

Gondresic was the 2017 Miss Michigan Basketball and Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year while playing for Benton Harbor high school and her mother, Lisa Harvey-Gondresic, worked as an assistant under head coach Lisa Harvey. She left Michigan second in the history of women’s basketball with 2,827 points.
His father, Grant Gondrezik, played at Pepperdine and for the NBA’s Suns and Clippers; he passed away in 2017. His mother won the national title when she played at Louisiana Tech. Kisre’s sister, Calabria, played at Michigan.
