After the first two computer graphics in which the French government was presented to you in the Geeks and Geekettes version, discover today the 7 Wonders of the World in the Geekettes version.
As you know, there were seven wonders in the world in ancient times: the pyramid of Cheops, the hanging gardens of Babylon, the statue of Zeus in Olympia, the temple of Artemis, the Colossus of Rhodes, the lighthouse of Alexandria and the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus. Today, most of them have disappeared but others have replaced them in the modern world such as the Great Wall of China, the Colosseum in Rome or the Taj Mahal But what would the Seven Wonders have been if they had been chosen by a bunch of geeks? Answer with a new computer graphics of Hitek and Geek Trolls.
#1 – TARDIS
It’s one of the accessories that every self-respecting geek dreams about. The Doctor’s blue police box allows you to travel through time and space very easily. His selection was a matter of course and makes the Tardis our first wonder of the world. It’s the Doctor who’ll be pleased! And for those of you who haven’t heard, the identity of the new Doctor has been revealed!
#2 – The Death Star
This weapon of war has marked the spirit of several generations. Of the size and shape of a moon alone, the stars of death allow for a certain supremacy throughout the galaxy. There’s a reason Darth Vader got two of them.
#3 – The Wall
Not really a marvel by its architecture because it’s just an old stone wall. Personally, I didn’t see it in the Seven Wonders of the World, but after enormous and obnoxious pressure from my editorial colleagues, I was forced to include it. It will be recognized nevertheless a certain size because it is 483 km long and between 213 and 244 meters high.
#4 – Minas Tirith
Situated in front of Mordor, the White City is a sublime monument but also a fortress for men. Made entirely of granite and white stone, it is the capital of Gondor. The city is even more beautiful since the end of the war and the coronation of Aragorn.
#5 – USS Enterprise
The mythical Star Trek ship has been seen in several versions, but remains a marvel by its size and technology. Anyway, Captain Kirk isn’t going to contradict us.
#6 – The Stargate
This monument has made many dream about it too because travelling through Space would just be huge! Who hasn’t dreamt of touring the galaxy with Colonel O’Neil, Doctor Jackson, Major Carter and Teal’c? 🙂
#7 – Peach Castle in Mario 64
Just wonderful architecture and absolutely not pixelated. Everybody knows it by heart. The secret rooms, the cellar or the hidden paintings, we’ve broken them all in. Overlooked by a garden just magnificent, this castle is by definition the 7th wonder of the world. But watch out for Princess Peach, Bowser’s never far away.
