This is the second season of Visions, a Star Wars fan fiction web series on YouTube that follows Ahsoka Tano’s life after Revenge Of The Sith.
The “ahsoka tano show” is a potential Ahsoka cameo that could be in Star Wars Celebration: Visions Season 2. The other possible cameo’s are Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader.
Potential Ahsoka cameos in Star Wars Celebration: Visions Season 2
Visions will be renewed for a second season, which should be the final piece of Star Wars Celebration news. Last September, Disney+ released the first season of this anime anthology, which featured nine original films from seven Japanese animation companies. Short films from Japan, India, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Chile, France, South Africa, and California will be shown in Season 2. “It’ll be a celebration of the amazing animation that’s occurring all across the world,” James Waugh remarked. Season 2 of Visions will premiere in the spring of 2023. Finally, Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo of Ahsoka have identified Bo-Katan Kryze and Asajj Ventress as characters they’d want to see in the series. Here’s what they had to say to Collider:
“Ventress,” says Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano). Out there is my other saber woman. Her and I have a fascinating past, and it would be fantastic.”
“Bo-Katan,” says Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Sabine Wren). I’d want for Sabine and Bo-Katan to meet up again, like they did in Rebels. So there’s the possibility of a very intriguing connection developing there.”
I’m looking forward to seeing more of Visions. Season 1 was a mixed bag for me, with episodes that ranged from fantastic (“The Ninth Jedi”) to humiliating (“Tatooine Rhapsody”). But the premise of these unconnected pieces excites me, and I enjoy that the tales this time are coming from a variety of creative sources. It seems to be a logical progression from the first season, which was well worth watching for its stronger episodes. It’s no secret that I like Star Wars animation, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the various companies across the globe come up with for the project. I’m disappointed they didn’t have a trailer to present, but I like what I’m hearing so far and am eager to learn more.
According to the women of Ahsoka, Asajj is unable to appear, and Bo-Katan seems to be a foregone conclusion. Both Sabine and Ahsoka have vital ties to Bo-Katan, and Katee Sackhoff is already playing her Clone Wars role in live-action on The Mandalorian. In the canon book Dark Disciple, based on unreleased Clone Wars material by George Lucas’ daughter Katie, Asajj Ventress dies. That narrative takes place some six months before the events of Revenge of the Sith, in the latter days of the Clone Wars. As such, Asajj can’t appear in Ahsoka unless it’s in a flashback or some World Between Worlds trickery is involved. I like Asajj as a character, and I hope we can learn more about her before she passes away. I’d probably appreciate it if they used flashbacks to incorporate her in Ahsoka. They don’t have to bring her back to life since that card can only be used so many times. Asajj, like Kanan Jarrus in Rebels, gave her life to rescue someone she cared about. Don’t scrimp on it. Dave Filoni is in charge of the program, and I trust him to treat the characters with care.
