Previously available only on Windows, SFR’s “TV on computer” option is now compatible on Mac. The ISP used HTML5 to make its service compatible on Mac and Linux. Better late than never…
This solution has the merit of being a little more elegant than Free’s, which requires the installation of VLC.

Uh but, uh, sorry to be an idiot but… Which ISP are we talking about?
sebhug | 07/09/2011 at 10:54am
Really random… We’re talking about SFR, read the articles …
Toz | 07/09/2011 at 10:55am
Yes, it would be nice to say it’s for the neufbox. I thought it was universal…
Fiozo | 07/09/2011 at 10:58am
With SFR in the title and in the capture, you have to do it on purpose to believe that it is universal …
cutmaster | 07/09/2011 at 10:59am
@sebhug: no need to be aggressive, I read the article but it’s not marked anywhere. If it’s on the picture then think that people (like me right now) are using MacG on their iPhone, in the subway and the, the pictures, it’s not messing around so I can’t see.
Doesn’t cost anything to find out, does it?
Ciboulon | 07/09/2011 at 11:00am
Yes, but with Free, the TV works in eyetv and you can record or control the live feed.
Cedr | 07/09/2011 at 11:04
@cutmaster
I read the article but it’s not marked anywhere
Otherwise the title is there 😉
cutmaster | 07/09/2011 at 11:05 am
When I posted my comment, the news had just been written and did not start with SFR: TV… but just by TV on… Don’t take people for idiots too much, we know how to read a title because that’s what catches the eye!
sebhug | 07/09/2011 at 11:06am
It was marked in the title but if I could seem aggressive I apologize but when they are kikos who do not even read the news it annoys.
HellXIoNS | 07/09/2011 at 11:08am
Moreover, the MAS lacks an application that allows you to watch Freebox TV on your lake without going through VLC.
Garzak | 07/09/2011 at 11:10am
n’t work yet on the iPad (just tested) :/
EDIT: However, there’s an app for that :p
cutmaster | 07/09/2011 at 11:10am
@sebhug: no again the title has been changed following my remark. The headline I saw was: Computer TV…
If the author or a modo could confirm it so that people understand that everyone can be right at the same time and that not everyone is a badger as some like to think it would be cool! It’s like a playground!
tef45 | 07/09/2011 at 11:12am
Spoken like a crook with a beautiful picture of one of the most beautiful seductive crooks in the world, Patrick Balkany, just huge
multi | 07/09/2011 at 11:12am
Balkany on the video, is that random?
Psylo | 07/09/2011 at 11:22am
It was already working with VLC, at SFR.
GerFaut | 07/09/2011 at 11:44am
Just for the record and to say: Is there full screen for this app? You can’t see it on the screen shot… Because on VLC, he’s on… 😉
No, but sometimes!
USB09 | 07/09/2011 at 11:55am
And requires flash installation. (all the same)
pandorama | 07/09/2011 at 12:27
AND only works with Safari according to my first try !! it works with any box; you just need to have your SFR ID. it’s not HD, the full screen is not great.
iBakarorea | 07/09/2011 at 12:42 PM
Too good. I’m buying my MacBook tomorrow and I was wondering if it will be available one day on Mac 🙂
iAnn | 07/09/2011 at 12:56 PM
Full screen: yes. Very average quality out of 27.
But it doesn’t manage the screen saver… so you have to disable it by system preference !!!
annoying anyway.
biscam | 07/09/2011 at 1:15pm
TV on computer” from SFR needs ONLY Safari, Mac OSX 10.6.8
iAnn | 07/09/2011 at 1:19pm
after… years since I’ve watched the small screen…
quick zapping and direct indigestion…
how can you let yourself be brainwashed like that?!!

SILLIG | 07/09/2011 at 1:36pm
With Free using VLC or EyeTv image is very very beautiful. The HD channels are available and the quality is really superb. And with the Multipost app on the iPad it’s the same. Free is the only truly pimp friendly provider.
MacGyver | 07/09/2011 at 1:54pm
Does anyone know how I can see the TV of my SFRbox from my macbook when I’m on the move?
