Samsung’s Galaxy J range is a far cry patch patch from the Galaxy S8. With this family of products, the South Korean manufacturer offers smartphones with modest features and at less expensive prices. As every year, a new generation of Galaxy J terminals will be introduced in 2017.

Now it’s the turn of the smallest of the band, the Galaxy J3 (2017) to make a name for itself. The German site WinFuture has indeed unveiled many renderings of this smartphone. The opportunity to admire its aluminium back framed by plastic strips above and below.

According to the characteristics delivered by this source, the unit would be equipped with a 5-inch screen with HD definition (1280 x 720 pixels) and, little surprise, the panel would not be entitled to a Super OLED display but to “simple” IPS LCD. Moreover, the Galaxy J3 (2017) would embark a Samsung Exynos 7570 clocked at 1.4 GHz and coupled with 2 GB of RAM for the version with 16 GB of storage space and 3 GB of RAM for the 32 GB version.  Finally, it would run natively under Android 7.0 Nougat, would be compatible with NFC and Bluetooth 4.2. Its modem would support cat.4 LTE (150 / 50 Mbps). He would also be entitled to two SIM card slots and a 2600 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is expected to sell for around 200 euros in the coming weeks. Note that Samsung has not revealed any official information on this subject.
