Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and then went to New York for treatment. He stayed there for almost a year with his wife, actor Neetu Kapoor, and returned to Mumbai in September 2019. Rishi Kapoor was the son of the legendary actor Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor. He made his first film appearance at the age of 3 in Sri 420. His popular films include Amar Akbar Anthony, Cooley, Bobby and Chandney. He was last seen in the body of Emraan Hashmi.
Rishi Kapoor survived his wife Neeta Kapoor and the children of Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor.
