The “rx 6600 xt vs rtx 2060 super” is a comparison between the Radeon RX 6600 and Radeon RX 6650 XT. The two cards are very similar, but the RX 6600 has a slight edge in performance.
Introduction
How much faster is the new Radeon RX 6650 XT compared to the Radeon RX 6600? Now that AMD has replaced the Radeon RX 6600 XT with the new Radeon RX 6650 XT, the product scaling goes from Radeon RX 6600 at $329 MSRP > to Radeon RX 6650 XT at $399 MSRP. But how much performance difference is there in that jump from the Radeon RX 6600 to the Radeon RX 6650 XT? What does the “XT” upgrade give you? How much does $70 buy you in gameplay performance? That is what we are going to find out today using two real retail video cards.
This is our Radeon RX 6600 vs. Radeon RX 6650 XT Performance Comparison Review, in which we pit the two video cards against each other in games to see how much performance difference there is between them. Today’s benchmarks will allow you to view the types of performance that have been achieved and determine for yourself what you need. Is the Radeon RX 6600 sufficient for you, or do you need the additional performance provided by the Radeon RX 6650 XT?

Comparison of Video Cards
To perform this comparison, we’ll use two retail video cards that we’ve previously tested individually.
We’re employing the SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 6600 GAMING video card for our Radeon RX 6600 based video card. Game Clock 2044MHz and Boost Clock 2491MHz are the AMD standard speeds for this visual card. It contains 8GB of 14GHz GDDR6 memory.
The MSI Radeon RX 6650 XT GAMING X video card is our Radeon RX 6650 XT based video card. The GPU Game Clock is 2523MHz, and the GPU Boost is 2694MHz. This card has a factory overclock. It contains 8GB of 17.5GHz GDDR6 memory.
For a description of our test system, techniques, and aims, please read our GPU Test Bench and Benchmarking Refresher. It’s worth noting that the system now has a Ryzen 7 5800X processor. You may find more information about our GPU testing here. Check out our KIT page to see all of the components in our video card evaluation test system setup.
In the motherboard BIOS, we activated PCI-Express Resizable BAR. In all of our tests, we’re using Resizable BAR on NVIDIA GPUs and AMD Smart Access Memory on AMD GPUs.
