Patriots Players Show Support Online Ahead of Bucs-Saints

Tom Brady.

The consistency of the New england patriots is strong.

The Patriots missed the playoffs for the first time since 2008, but some members of the team watched NFL action Sunday night.

Why? Former Patriot and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady led his Tampa Bay Buccaneers against New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game

The cheers from Brady’s teammates were great.

Come on, Tommy.

Brady’s team still has a lot of respect for him

Most people know that Julian Edelman and Brady are friends. Because of that relationship, you can count on him to support Brady. Guys like Brandon Bolden and Patrick Chang (both fired for the season because of COWID-19) don’t have the same relationship with Brady in the public eye, though.

The fact that they support Brady so much is a testament to the impact the QB has had on his Patriots teammates.

Brady-Belichick debate intensifies

The entire season was a success for Brady, and the Buccaneers even beat the Saints on Sunday. With the Patriots and Belichick struggling in 2020 and Brady doing well, it’s clear that Brady has benefited from the breakup.

Bill Belichick must be furious.

Brady won the distance with a long shot. Maybe you should have treated the boy better, Bill.

What if Tom Brady goes to the Super Bowl again and with a different team? Oh, wow. One thing about Bill Belichick is that he’s probably somewhere now, lol.

If you wanted to compare the competition between Brady and Belichick to a race, first ask yourself if it’s a sprint or a marathon. With both men in the final stages of their careers, it’s a sprint.

One season wouldn’t normally kill career comparisons, but given that Brady and Belichick have spent so many seasons together and have so few years left to play and coach, the success of TB12 2020 will give him an edge in most people’s eyes.

That’s just one way of looking at it.

On the other hand, much wiser, we must realize that it is impossible to compare a head coach to a quarterback. Clearly, their roles are so different that it’s unfair to blame Belichick for not achieving the same success when trying to lead an entire team, compared to Brady, who is merely the quarterback on offense.

Is Brady desperate to win a Super Bowl without Belichick and the Patriots? I’m sure of it. Did Belichick want his 2020 team to do better than Brady and the Bucs, and is he hotter than ever to get New England back on track? Of course, but this does not add to the credibility of this entertaining but not very holistic discussion.

Despite this lightheartedness, the Brady-Belichick story will continue as long as both teams are active in the NFL, and it will get a new springboard when the Patriots take on the Bucs in the 2021 regular season.
