Old Trailer Brings Out M. Night Shyamalan’s Island Nightmare This Summer

A new trailer for Shyamalan’s new movie, Glass, has just been released, and it’s already causing a stir. Glass is the sequel to Shyamalan’s Unbreakable, which was originally released in 2000, and became a surprise hit. As fans of the original movie already know, it’s a superhero origin story with comic book characters played by Bruce Willis (who played the comic book hero David Dunn) and Samuel L. Jackson (who played villain Elijah Price AKA Mr. Glass, who has super-strength and a form of multiple personality disorder).

The old trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s 2016 feature film, “Split”, is an intense, disturbing, and disgusting look at a man who has been hiding 23 different personalities in his body. This summer, those personalities are going to be let out, starting with the one that looks like a creepy little girl. In The Old One, a film with an ensemble cast led by Gael García Bernal, a group of strangers suddenly and rapidly age, reducing their entire lives to a single day. The film is based on the French comic strip Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Levy and illustrator Frédéric Peeters. An insider previously reported that the director of Unbreakable received a copy of the novel for Father’s Day and was immediately intrigued by the idea. After quickly purchasing the rights to the comic, the story reportedly inspired Shyamalan to write the screenplay for the film Old Man. Old is just the first part of M. Night Shyamalan’s new two-film deal with Universal Pictures, with another untitled project scheduled for February 2023.
