Nintendo Shares Tons Of New Metroid Dread Details In Its Second Official Report

Metroid: Other M had a lot of issues, and it’s been over a year since its release. Many fans felt the final game didn’t really live up to previous Metroid titles. It was not until after the game’s launch that the real problems with the game surfaced. The game had several bugs and glitches. The game’s power-up system was not implemented properly. Samus’ suit was quite buggy. The game’s combat was buggy and generally lackluster. For all of these reasons, the game failed to meet the expectations set by the Metroid Prime series.

While Nintendo has stayed fairly quiet regarding Metroid Dread’s sales, they aren’t holding back on giving the game more exposure. Earlier today the company published a report detailing the game’s financials, and they are huge. In fact, the game is so profitable they are considering investing more money into the game.

After debuting a teaser video Earlier this week Nintendo has now revealed the first details of Metroid Dread a new Metroid game that is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch in 2019. Metroid Dread will be the first to feature a female heroine, following the release of Metroid: Samus Returns last year. The game will be set in the Metroid universe, and will be the first Metroid game to feature a fully-realized world (rather than the tiered areas of the original Metroid). The game is set to release at some point next year, and will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch . Read more about metroid prime 4 release date and let us know what you think.

news has arrived regarding one of the most anticipated games in the Nintendo Switch catalog. We’re talking about Metroid Dread in this case.

In the text we leave below, representatives from Nintendo offer content regarding the game’s second review, which focuses on EMMI and beyond. Remember, we received their respective games this morning.

It’s right here:

In this episode, we focus on the threat against Samus Aran: EMMI They were once sent by the Galactic Federation for exploration, but now these large, agile, deadly robots have dedicated themselves to the relentless pursuit of Samus.

Read on to find out more about these powerful machines and the changes they will bring to the world of Metroid …

What is an EMMI?

The Interplanetary Multiform Mobile Explorer (or EMMI) is a maneuverable robot designed to explore the terrain and extract DNA from collected samples. The Galactic Federation has sent some of them to the unknown planet ZDR to study Parasite X, a life form capable of taking the form of other organisms. However, contact with the EMMI was severed when they arrived at the AMM.

When Samus encounters the EMMI on her mission to find out what is going on in the DRZ, she notices that the behavior and purpose of the robots seems to have changed.

The EMMI are Galactic Federation robots, so theoretically they shouldn’t be enemies of Samus. But the EMMI that our heroine encounters identifies her as a target and pursues her without letting her rest. We believe that the fact that EMMIs have no feelings, combined with their incredible power, will make players tremble with fear.

What happens if Samus gets caught?

EMMIs move freely in their area. Depending on what their sensors detect, they are programmed to perform up to three different actions, distinguished by the color of the light shining on their heads.

Go through the area without finding Samus.

  • Observation mode (yellow light)

Investigate suspicious vibrations.

Chase Samus at high speed after you see her.

If the EMMIs capture Samus, chances are she won’t survive. Use extreme caution and avoid discovery when exploring EMMI areas.

If EMMIs have broken into your home, you have a slim chance of saving your life. Attack the moment the EMMI opens up to attack you. Of course, the interval is so small that it is almost impossible to go back successfully. In short, it’s better to have peace of mind: Don’t get caught!

Don’t worry, there’s always a checkpoint nearby, which comes in very handy if things go wrong and Samus is captured.

EMMI zone doors

EMMI takes place in their assigned EMMI areas. These areas are separated from the rest of the world by gates that only Samus can pass through.

The doors close when the EMMI detects Samus visually and begins tracking her. To reopen it, you have to make the EMMI lose track of you.

The areas in which EMR should be addressed are limited. What a stress to deal with all the time!

When you enter the EMMI area, the grounds and gate locations are marked on a map to help you find your way around. Remember to stay calm and consult a map when entering one of these areas.

New capacity: Spectrum camouflage

Spectral camouflage is one of Samus’ new skills: It’s an optical camouflage that makes them invisible. As long as this ability is active, Samus can move without making a sound. EMMI’s optical sensors don’t detect it either.

Samus can activate this ability by consuming a special type of energy called Aeion. However, if Samus runs or performs any other action while using this ability, Aeion’s energy will deplete faster. When she is completely exhausted, Samus can still use the spectral cloak, but it takes her own energy. Manage these resources very carefully.

~ Development team transfer ~

A spectral cloak not only prevents the EMMI from detecting Samus, but also allows the doors to close when someone is detected.

This ability is useful against all types of enemies, not just EMMI, so you can save it for times when you’re low on energy.

Are EMMIs invincible?

EMMI’s protective armor is made from the strongest materials in the universe and is capable of repelling Samus’ most significant attacks.

However, when Samus gets power from the Central Units (the computers that control each EMMI zone), her cannon is temporarily boosted and turns into an Omega Cannon, allowing her to fire the Omega Burst and Omega Blast Cannons. EMMIs are defenseless against both attacks.

Omega Burst

When Samus has activated the Omega Cannon, hold down the L key to aim and press the Y key without releasing to perform a powerful, quick Omega Burst attack. Hit the EMI heads a few times to overheat the shield. If you destroy it, the core is exposed, and that is EMMI’s weak point.

Download omega

Hold down the R key while aiming at the Omega Cannon to fire the shot. After charging, press the Y key for a deadly explosion of Omega. Touch the open EMMI core to kill it. When you defeat the EMMI, the Omega Cannon turns into a normal Samus Cannon.

~ Development team transfer ~

Samus can’t move while the Omega discharge is being prepared. You must overcome your fear as the deadly EMMI approaches and charge your weapon, then discharge all its energy and finish off the enemy. You’ll feel the tension building up inside you, but if you manage to fight off the attack, you’ll feel incredibly fulfilled.

How many EMMIs are there?

The trailer for the presentation showed several EMMIs, including two multi-colored models and a broken model.

On the cover of the game, however, the shadows of the seven EMMIs appear behind Samus. Looks like there are more robots than we thought!

~ Development team transfer ~

Each EMMI has different skills, and you’ll want to know which ones. EMMI still has many secrets. but we’ll save those for another time.
