Thanos landed December 25
Even though the complete list of new catalog items for December 2018 has not yet been officially announced by the streaming service the Netflix account released this information on Monday.
If we can consider this announcement as good news, we can also point out that the arrival ofInfinity War in the platform’s catalogue also marks the end of the partnership between the SVOD giant and Disney. Indeed, last August, we learned that Ant-Man and the Wasp would be the last Marvel movie to be offered to Netflixsubscribers.
The Avengers’ arrival at Netflix on December 25 comes almost exactly eight months after its theatrical release. If the calculations are good, Ant-Man and the Wasp released in early July should logically be available on the streaming platform in early March 2019.
In the future, Captain Marvel and the other Marvel movies will no longer go through Netflix. To see them, you will have to subscribe to the new streaming service, Disney+, which the studio is about to launch at the end of next year.
In any case, is a nice Christmas gift that Netflix gives to all Marvel fans! All? By really … Indeed, only American subscribers will be able to benefit from it. As a reminder, in France, Netflix is subject to the media chronology that requires you to wait 36 months to offer a film in SVOD after its release in the cinema.
