As India’s most popular and powerful leader, Modi is widely recognized for his achievements in his past decade as the chief minister of the state of Gujarat in the western part of the country. Modi was elected on the 17th. September 1950: Born in a grocery family in Vadnagar, Mehsana district. Modi grew up in a small town in northern Gujarat and earned a master’s degree in Political Science from Gujarat University in Ahmedabad. He was the third of six children born in the family of Damodardas Mulchand and Hirabeen Modi. As a child, Modi helped his father sell tea at the Vadnagar railway station and later he and his brother ran a tea stall near the bus stop. He completed his secondary education in Vadnagar in 1967.

How did Narendra Modi become a politician?
In the early 1970s, he joined the pro-Hindu Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and formed a unit of the RSS student wing, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, in his district. Modi climbed steadily up the hierarchy of the RSS, and his association with the organization contributed greatly to his later political career.

He became the president of the Gujarat government and just made everybody happy, made a lot of programmers successful and helped people so that people believed him. He is a very hardworking man, he always gets up at 4am and does yoga, so he has not forgotten his culture. He also does all his meetings and Narendra Modi speeches and never looks tired, he does his job very well. Other countries are also inviting him and want to work with him. It has given a new impetus to our tourism and to our relations with other countries. Narendra Modi’s speech is usually overly pompous on national holidays.
Why is Narendra Modi my favourite politician?
Modi has created many jobs for the unemployed in India. And now he wants to make India progressive by making the internet available everywhere, for which he is happy to partner with Google and Facebook. He also uses Twitter, which is a powerful way to connect with people. He also encourages all athletes and soldiers. He spends almost all his vacations with the Indian army. He gave the example that anyone can do anything, you just need a strong will to do it. And he is the best example of that. He began his journey as the son of a tea seller and has now become the country’s prime minister. He loves his mother very much and always goes to greet her.

Modi has also helped many poor farmers and other poor people in India, he has almost solved the water problem in India and he is also very good at building the infrastructure of India. He has now launched the Make in India programme. It allows us to produce things in India and not use foreign products, so we benefit and India becomes one of the biggest countries. He says if you take one step forward think 125 million feet, no one can stop our progress. That’s why Narendra Modi is my favorite politician. He is the best son a mother in India can have.
