Bioware has announced that mass effect legendary Edition will be released worldwide on all platforms on May 14, 2021. Restoring the game, let alone three, is a huge undertaking given that it contains over 100 hours of gameplay, but we wanted to do it both for our fans and for a new generation of gamers who want to immerse themselves in Shepard’s legendary story.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition will include enhanced visual effects for all three games, including reworked character models and thousands of improved textures. The trilogy has also benefited from shader and VFX improvements, updated lighting and improved dynamic shadows, volume and depth of field. The kinematics of all three titles have also been improved.
The most significant changes are seen in the original Mass Effect title, which has now added more detail and depth to places like Eden Prime, Ilos and Feros. It also has a brand new and updated user interface as well as many quality of life improvements. Gameplay has also been improved, with better aiming, team control and behavior, Mako and camera work, making this the Ultimate Collection for fans of the franchise.
