The German group is expecting a big win. Its predecessor had already sold very well (its price was reduced to 179 euros for the launch of the new model) and it is a hit in Germany and Belgium, where it is already on the shelves. It has even been out of stock across the Rhine, where it is sold for less (EUR 300), reports BFMTV. “We have built up large stocks so that it will be present for fifteen weeks in at least 250 stores”, says Michel Biero, Lidl’s Executive Director of Purchasing and Marketing.
