Lehner Gets Shutout As Golden Knights Blank Ducks 4-0 –

(AP) – Robin Lehner made 16 saves for his first shutout of the season and 16th of his career, and the Vegas Golden Knights extended their winning streak to five games with a 4-0 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night.

William Karlsson, Chandler Stephenson, Nicholas Roy and Brayden McNabb scored for the Golden Knights, who come within two points of the West Division-leading Colorado Avalanche.

Stevenson added an assist and Mark Stone two assists to give Vegas a 3-0 lead on the trip to Southern California, where it will take on the Kings and Los Angeles Ducks in four games. Vegas and Anaheim close out a two-game series Sunday.

LOOK UP

Two days after Tomas Nosek had his best performance of the season with three points (one goal, two assists) for the Golden Knights in a 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings, the forward pulled out the victory from a late scrum.

There was no immediate announcement from the team about the injury.

Nosek has been very effective in his last 16 games in Las Vegas, scoring 14 points with six goals and eight assists, including four goals and two assists in his last seven games.
