Lala Kent spoke up about her separation with Randall Emmett, and in the process, she made an unexpected revelation about his ex-wife.
The “Vanderpump Rules” actress answered questions from Andy Cohen and fans about her ex fiancé’s infidelity scandal during a virtual visit on “Watch What Happens Live.” Kent called her quits with Emmett in October 2021, seven months after their daughter Ocean was born.
Kent claimed the film producer’s shady conduct was continuous when a reader questioned whether Emmett just cheated on her once or if it was the only time he was caught.
“This has been going on for a while,” Kent said. “It’s been a pattern of conduct that I’ve discovered, and it’s not just one individual; it’s a group of people.” I suppose it began when I became sober. And that’s simply — I have no idea how I missed it.”
Emmett’s continuous phone usage and extended absences from home were warning signals, according to the author of “Give Them Lala.”
“But who would sneak around with him?” I reasoned. “I honestly believed that,” she acknowledged.

Emmett met Kent in 2015, while still married to Ambyr Childers, his first wife. Emmett married Childers in 2009, and the couple has two kids, London and Rylee. According to Us Weekly, they divorced in 2017.
When Kent first started dating Emmett, she kept his name a secret and only referred to him as her “boyfriend” on camera on “Vanderpump Rules.” She also brags about the extravagant items he provided her, such as a Range Rover.
Kent remarked on “Watch What Happens Live” that she is not in contact with Emmett’s first wife but can sympathize with her.
“It seemed like our path was continually winding,” Kent added. “I get where you’re coming from. I feel a great deal of sympathy for her.”
“I believe she’s a wonderful lady and a wonderful mother,” Kent said. “And, to be honest, I believe she was the nicest thing that could have happened to him.”
Kent stated why she thought Childers was better for Emmett than she was when Cohen questioned her.
“I simply believe the way he and I came to be was so nasty and filthy in retrospect,” she remarked. “It was simply something constructed on falsehoods, and knowing what I know about her, I believe she was a nice person and he screwed up.”

While Kent was close to Emmett’s girls and considered them to be her stepdaughters, she confessed that she has had no contact with London or Rylee since their father’s divorce.
“From what I’ve heard, it’s been difficult for them, and I haven’t heard from them in a long time which is devastating,” she stated on WWHL.
Kent claimed she only communicates with Emmett about the kid they share via an app—and solely about Ocean.
“We interact using an app, and it’s all about Ocean,” she said. “When it came to my relationship and departing it, there was no closure at all, so Ocean is the major emphasis, and that’s how we connect.” I have no desire to engage with that individual if it has nothing to do with her.”
