Jackass Forever Opens With $23 Million at the Box Office

The first Jackass film, released in 2000 and starring Johnny Knoxville, was a surprise hit that created two sequels. It is now back with an anniversary edition following its cast on their rounds of tour dates. The movie’s success saw it rake in $23 million at the box office.

The “jackass forever box office” is a film that was released by Paramount Pictures and MTV Films on October 25th, 2013. The movie opened with $23 million at the Box Office.

This weekend, Jackass Forever will debut in the top place at the box office. Jackass Forever made an estimated $23 million in its first three days, despite the entire box office being tiny. This includes the $1.7 million made on the first day of the film’s release, which included Thursday night previews. On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, Jackass Forever is the first film in the franchise’s history to get a “certified fresh” rating. In the age of the epidemic, maybe Jackass’ style of insane physical humor is more needed than ever. Jamie Jirak rated Jackass Forever a favorable review, giving it a 4-out-of-5 rating.

“While Jackass Forever doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it’s every bit as enjoyable as the other flicks,” Jirak writes. “It’s brimming with nonstop laughter, charm, and affection. If you have the opportunity to watch it in a theater, do do, since nothing beats the shared experience of laughing and cringing at the Jackass crew’s unparalleled tenacity and charm.”

“Celebrate the delight of a flawlessly performed shot to the crotch as Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the group return for another round of funny, crazily bizarre, and sometimes deadly displays of stunts and comedy,” according to the description for Jackass Forever.

Jackass Forever outperforms Roland Emmerich’s new catastrophe film Moonfall, which is also out this weekend. Moonfall earned $10.1 million during the weekend, less than half of what Jackass Forever did. The movie is also receiving a “rotten” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
