Isiah Thomas speaks out on LeBron James’ MVP case

Add Isaiah Thomas NBA Hall to those who think Los Angeles Lakers superstar Lebron James deserves the 2019-20 MVP Combat title in the NBA regular season.

In his speech during the last episode of the radio podcast Scoop B, the former Grand Master of the Detroit Piston gave his opinion on the current debate between Lebron and Giannis Antetokunmpo.

Jiannis has been a leader all year. But I thought Lebron and the Lakers had made their entrance before the end of the season, said the double NBA champion.

Lebron Lakers James is the league’s chief vice president, according to NBA Isaiah Thomas:

Jiannis was the leader all year. But I thought Lebron and the Lakers were gonna make a move before the season was over.

My story goes on @HeavySan.

The status is sensible, you can’t go wrong with James or Antetokunmpo, because both do almost everything for their respective teams, the Lakers and Bax.

LeBron, 35, is in his 17th season. With an average of 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists in a Lakers game, the Lakers continue to score goals in the championship. The Greek improved his position compared to last year’s MVP season by 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1 handle and 1 block per game.

The Lakers (49-14) and Bax (53-12) also led the respective conferences before the season was interrupted and were the first two teams to reach the play-offs.

However, Thomas pointed out that the Lakers played better basketball before the break and seemed to have enough pairs together to overtake Bax and get the best score in the league.

They (the Lakers) were only two games in the losing column behind the Milwaukee Bucks. And Milwaukee and Jiannis at the time – Jiannis was a bit off, and Milwaukee wasn’t playing so well, and I came to the conclusion that if the Lakers do better or even better than the Milwaukee Bucks and end up with a better record, you have to say that LeBron James is the MVP league, he said.

It is not yet known when (and if) the season will resume, but LeBron and Giannis both certainly deserve to nod their heads after setting the benchmark for the Lakers and Bucks this season. Whoever wins, the fans will definitely take part in one of the upcoming MVP races these days.
