The coronavirus pandemic slowed life down. So far more than 3,500 positive cases of the virus have been recorded in India, although it has been present in the country since day 24 of the epidemic. The month of March is isolated and the 14th of March. April has to end. The localization has created enormous challenges for day laborers and poor people and their families across the country.

In this difficult time, several Indian cricketers came to the rescue and the last to join the list were Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan. Previously, they had many face masks spread among people to protect themselves from the deadly virus.

We stand ready to support the government in any way we can in such a critical situation. The next few days will be critical, and we encourage every citizen to stay home, take care of their health, and care for everyone around them,” Irfan and Yusuf told CricTracker.

This time they’re feeding the poor. Irfan and Yusuf Patan decided to distribute 10,000 kg of rice and 700 kg of potatoes in Baroda to poor and needy people. This is a big step for the duo, as many isolated people suffer from hunger on a national level.

Indian Cricket Brotherhood does the rest

At the same time, the Indian Cricket Brotherhood, like Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan, is doing its best to help the nation. Earlier, CBKR president Surav Ganguli had donated rice worth 50 rupees to the poor and on Saturday he presented the ISKKON centre in Calcutta. In the past, ISKCON could receive 10,000 people a day, but now, with the help of Ganguly, it feeds 20,000 people a day.

Since Iskkon Kolkata we have prepared food for 10,000 people every day. Our dear Surav Dasa, with all his support and donations, has enabled us to double our capacity to 20,000 people a day, said Radharaman Dasa, spokesperson and vice-president of ISKCON, the center of Calcutta.
