to start I went into Google Play to install Yahoo mail on my mobile. When I entered my user account and password: Login not possible
so I found this link right here:
Go to your Yahoo email account (from your PC) as if you were checking your mailbox.
– Click on the “Options” link and then on “Other options…”
– Go to the “POP Access & Transfers” section.
– Select the following box : Allow POP access to your Yahoo! account. Mail
If you have several Yahoo email accounts, you will need to do the same for each of them.
The configuration from the mobile :
step 1 :
– Click on the “E-mail” icon usually placed on the desktop or in the full menu of applications
– Press the “menu” key > “Add Account”.
– Enter your email address ([email protected]) and your password
– Press “manual config” > POP3 (change only the items below, otherwise leave as default)
° Server pop3 : pop.mail.yahoo.fr
Safety type : SSL
Delete e-mail from the server : At your convenience, if you wish to delete the emails so that you don’t have them duplicated, activate it here.
– Say “Next.”
stage 2
– Modify the items as below :
smtp server: smtp.mail.yahoo.fr
Safety type : SSL
– Say “Next.”
– Choose the frequency of consultation of the account of your choice (15 min, 30 min, 1 hour…)
– Do “Next” again.
– Name the account to dissociate it from other mailboxes and enter the name that will appear when you send an email to a contact.
At step 1 after doing the following I am already unable to connect to server
I’ve had this phone for a month, I can’t get anywhere with it and it’s really starting to get me drunk 😈
I’m losing hours on it, it’s unthinkable!
