For farming sunlight medals in Dark Souls 3, you need to collect a number of items and defeat bosses. Here is how the process goes for this particular example.
The “dark souls 3 – sunlight medal farming offline” is a method in which the player can farm sunlight medals without using an internet connection. This method requires some preparation and patience.
Sunlight Medals may be obtained in Dark Souls 3 in two ways:
- assisting other players in overcoming bosses (online method)
- Lothric Knights Farming (offline method)
You should attempt both of them at the same time for the greatest results. We’ll show you how to do it in the section below.
Assistance to Other Players (Online Method)
A member of the Warriors of Sunlight covenant’s primary purpose is to assist other players in exchange for Sunlight Medals.
The Warriors of Sunlight’s base is the Altar of Sunlight.
It goes without saying that online co-op is the preferred method for earning Sunlight Medals, and it used to be the quickest as well.
Dark Souls 3’s online community isn’t as vibrant as it once was, six years after its debut.
Due to the reduced player count, I suggest setting up this approach first, then collecting Medals offline (see below) while waiting to be called for co-op.
A Medal of Light
To begin, you must be a member of the Warriors of Sunlight covenant.
The Warriors of Sunlight Pledge, which can be discovered in the Undead Settlement, is required for membership.
To begin, warp to The Bonfire of the Undead Settlement.
The Bonfire of the Undead Settlement
Walk straight ahead from the Bonfire and enter the dark building on the main route. Drop to the shattered floorboards, turn right, and exit the building through the passage.
Once outdoors, you’ll see a big group of adversaries gathered around a tree. Roll off the tiny ledge in front of you after running past them and bearing right.
After you’ve descended, look to your left for a stone archway.
The stone archway at the left path’s end
Turn right after passing beneath the archway to see a short set of stairs leading to a locked door.
Smash through the crates to your right to uncover a hole on the floor as you enter this structure.
The Warriors of Sunlight Pledge is accessible via a hole on the floor.
Drop down through this hole to discover a secret chamber. Pick up the Warriors of Sunlight Pledge and join the covenant by interacting with the object on the table.
The Sunlight Warriors Pledge is written on a table in the hidden chamber.
Return to Firelink Shrine after collecting the Pledge.
Once inside the shrine, talk with the Handmaiden in the passage straight ahead and pay 500 souls for the White Sign Soapstone.
In the Firelink Handmaiden store, the White Sign Soapstone
You’re ready to start the farm now that you have these two goods.
Working on the Farm
Assign the Soapstone to your fast menu and equip the Warriors of Sunlight Pledge in your covenant slot.
Make sure you’re playing online, then use the Soapstone to set your summon sign at a boss fog gate of your choice.
Relaxing by the Summon Sunlight Sign
Keep in mind your level, since you won’t be called if you’re overleveled for the boss battle you’ve placed your summon sign next to.
Because more people are likely to request you for assistance against stronger adversaries, the game’s toughest bosses are the greatest selections here.
If you plan on farming Sunlight Medals offline, I suggest placing your summon sign near the Dragonslayer Armour arena, since it is close to the offline farming location.
The entrance to the Dragonslayer Armour battle.
There’s nothing you can do now except wait for another player to get stuck on the boss and invite you into their world for assistance.
Every time you beat a boss with a co-op teammate, you’ll get a Sunlight Medal.
Lothric Knights Farming (offline method)
While you wait for co-op fights, I highly suggest farming Lothric Knights to pass the time between summons and speed up the Sunlight Medal farming process.
A Knight of Lothric
First and foremost:
Sunlight Medals are an incredibly uncommon drop from Lothric Knights, so make sure you have a high item discovery stat.
We offer a tutorial devoted to increasing your farming chance if you need some assistance with item finding.
A character with item discovering equipment.
To begin the farm, warp to The Bonfire at Lothric Castle after you’ve achieved as much item discovery as possible.
Working on the Farm
The Bonfire at Lothric Castle
When you get to the Bonfire, rush straight for the Lothric Knight with its back to you and prepare to battle.
Return to the Bonfire to respawn it and battle it once again.
There are more complicated and time-consuming methods to harvest Sunlight Medals than battling this one adversary, but this is by far the quickest.
The Lothric Knight successfully drops the Sunlight Medal.
You can repeat a run in roughly 15 seconds after you’ve mastered taking it down swiftly.
With a high item discovery stat, you can expect A Medal of Light once every 5 minutes or so with this farm, getting you every Warrior of Sunlight reward in just over 2 hours.
