Bloodborne is a challenging game with numerous ways to play. One particular difficult route to victory requires one player, the Hunter, collect “Blood Vials” and use them as bait for enemies during combat. This guide will show you how to farm sedatives in Bloodborne by using your hunter’s blood vial from battle..
The “cosmic eye watcher badge” is a badge that can be found in Bloodborne. The badge allows players to farm sedatives.
In Bloodborne, there are two methods to gain limitless Sedatives:
- Slime Farming Students in the Lecture Hall (Late-game)
- Purchasing from the Hunter’s Dream Messenger Shop (only for the New Game Plus)
Bloodborne’s end-game regions need sedatives to survive the Frenzy-inducing horrors. We’ll show you how to obtain them down below.
Building Farming Lecture (late-game)
The entrance to the Lecture Building is the 2nd Floor Lamp of the Lecture Building.
After defeating The One Reborn and escaping Yahar’gul, you’ll find yourself at the Lecture Building, a tiny region with the game’s finest Sedative farm.
Starting at the 2nd Floor Lecture Building Lamp, exit the door in front of you and turn left, then sprint along the path to the end of the building.
Slime Students line the path
Ignore the Slime Student foes along the route, and at the end of the trail, turn right to see a gigantic Skeleton guarding a hatch in the floor.
Roll past the enormous Skeleton and through the hatch behind it. You’ll find yourself in a chamber with Patches, a huge spider.
To convince Patches to move away from the entrance, talk to or kill him, then enter the Lecture Building 1st Floor via it. The Lamp for the Lecture Hall may be found by opening the door opposite you.
The Lamp for the Lecture Hall
You’ve arrived at the farm’s starting place.
However, there is one more item you must do before you can begin.
From The Lamp for the Lecture Hall room, walk outside and turn right into the massive corridor.
Approach the set of cabinets ahead of you that are lighted by a lantern and enter the room adjacent to it.
Cabinets with lights and a door next to it
To access an empty lecture hall, pass through this room and exit the door on the opposite side.
Then go to the deceased professor and take the Lecture Theatre Key from his corpse; you’ll need this key to unlock the chamber containing the farm’s objectives.
The Lecture Theatre Key is held by a deceased professor in an empty lecture hall.
Turn around and retrace your steps back to the huge corridor after you’ve collected the key. Turn left and continue walking along the corridor until the end.
Maintain your camera’s focus on the right wall until you see a little entrance concealed between two pillars.
The secret door
Prepare to fend off a tiny army of Slime Students by opening the door with the Lecture Theatre Key.
These adversaries are the ones that drop the Sedatives, so take a step back and wait for a safe opportunity to rush in and take them out.
Slime Students, the farm’s prey, used to be confined up in a lecture hall.
When they’re all dead, go to the right side of the chamber and open the door to a tiny study room.
Open the other door in here to find yourself back in the central corridor, right next to The Lamp for the Lecture Hall.
On repeat trips of the farm, this freshly opened entrance will provide as a shortcut to the Students.
The quickest route to the Students. The left door leads to the Students, while the right door leads to The Lamp for the Lecture Hall.
You may respawn the Slime Students by warping to the Hunter’s Dream and returning now that the lecture hall and shortcut are available.
Slime Students drop sedatives infrequently, but farming these foes is by far the easiest method to stock up.
TIP: If you use the shortcut, each repetition of the farm should only take a few minutes, and at least one Student should drop some Sedatives each time.
Purchasing Sedatives in Hunter’s Dream (Only New Game Plus)
Shop for the Hunter’s Dream Messenger
If you’ve completed your first playthrough and are looking for a quicker way to stock up on Sedatives, look no further than Shop for the Hunter’s Dream Messenger.
However, it is not as easy as just purchasing them.
To be able to purchase Sedatives, you must first get the Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge from Upper Cathedral Ward. You’ll also need to find the Upper Cathedral Ward Key in a secret nook of Yahar’gul to get entrance to the Upper Cathedral Ward.
To begin, warp to the Yahar’gul, Unseen Village Lamp.
Unseen Village Lamp Yara’gu
Walk down the tiny set of steps to the left of the Lamp, then race down the huge stairway crowded with Villagers.
At the bottom of the stairwell, enter the building, then turn right and exit via this door.
The bottom of the stairwell leads out of the building.
Continue straight ahead down the spiral staircase, then through the enormous hole in the wall to the left of the locked door.
Before stepping through the metal gate to your right, run to the end of the hallway ahead of you and beat the Brick Troll around the bend.
The metal gate that leads to the damaged building’s exit
Turn left and enter through the door to return to the outdoors after descending the tiny set of steps. After descending the steps, you’ll come to a little boardwalk.
Walk up the left-hand set of stairs and swiftly turn right to dash to safety.
You’re searching for a hole in the metal railing to your right; keep an eye on it as you run and you’ll locate it shortly.
Hidden beneath plants is a gap in the railing.
To safely land on a concealed ledge below, carefully walk off it (don’t run or roll).
Go through the massive door behind you to return inside and battle the Brick Troll on your right.
Drop into a cage with a corpse that holds the Upper Cathedral Ward Key by rolling off this walkway through the hole in the railing beside you.
The Upper Cathedral Ward Key-holding corpse
Return to the Lamp after picking up the key before returning to the Hunter’s Dream.
To begin the trek up to the Upper Cathedral Ward, use the tombstone to warp to The Ward Lamp in the Cathedral.
The Ward Lamp in the Cathedral
Continue down the stairwell and turn right into the tiny hallway leading to the elevator. To go to the Healing Church Workshop, take the elevator to the top.
Turn left to walk out onto the Healing Church Workshop tower after taking out the Wheelchair-bound Rifleman front of you.
The Healing Church Workshop tower’s entrance
Walk inside the tower, clear out the opponents, and climb the stairwell to the top.
Two Flamethrower-wielding Riflemen protect the passage behind them in the uppermost room.
After you’ve fought the adversaries, go down this hallway and use the Upper Cathedral Ward Key to open the door at the end.
The Upper Cathedral Ward Key is required to open the door at the top of the tower.
The Upper Cathedral Ward is reached by passing through the entrance. Turn left and up the spiral staircase to a bridge leading to the Choir Building, your final destination
Defeat the opponents on this bridge, then light The Ward Lamp in the Upper Cathedral behind them to provide a nearby respawn point in case you are attacked by the Choir Building inhabitants.
The Ward Lamp in the Upper Cathedral
This structure is often regarded as the game’s most deadly location. So, before you go in, make sure you completely comprehend the path to the Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge.
Make a left at the enormous gold doors after climbing the stairs directly front of you.
To dodge the Frenzy-inducing Slugs, sprint around the corner and up the tight stairway to the Church Servant at the top.
At the top of the stairwell, a Church Servant is obstructing access to the Choir Building.
You’ll probably have to kill this Church Servant since it’s obstructing your route inside the building.
Despite having more strength than its early-game predecessors, this Servant is nonetheless vulnerable to pistol parries. So parry and riposte a few times and you’ll be able to enter the building safely.
As you enter the building, turn left and immediately dispatch the Brainsucker adversary.
The Brainsucker lurks in the shadows.
Brainsuckers can be stunlocked with almost any weapon. So constantly rush at them and remain aggressive in order to rapidly kill them.
To travel farther into the building, walk through the door in this chamber, but be aware of the Werewolf to your right.
Get its attention, then hurry back to the chamber where the Brainsucker was slain. The Werewolf will get trapped in the doorframe, making a quick and simple death possible.
The Werewolf had been caught in the doorway.
Return to the corridor and turn left before rushing to the end of the corridor with the Werewolf dead. A door is to your right; enter it and prepare to flee from three more werewolves.
Repeat the technique you did previously by running through the door you just came through to trap the Werewolves.
Return to the new location and descend the stairs to your right after you’ve slain all three Werewolves.
The main hall is reached through a stairway.
You’ll find yourself in the main hall at the foot of the stairs, attracting the notice of one last Werewolf.
You may either utilize the large open field to take down the Werewolf the honorable way, or you can lure him back to the final door.
Face the doors at the end of the hall once it’s safe to do so, then hug the right wall. Along this wall, go towards the doors until you reach a big archway.
In the dim light, the arches
A tiny passage containing a Brainsucker and an item close to a corpse may be found via this entryway. Defeat or run past the Brainsucker to get the Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge from his body.
The Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge-wielding corpse
With the badge in hand, you may finally warp back to the Hunter’s Dream and stock up on Sedatives for your Nightmare Realm adventure.
