Ahriman wings in Final Fantasy XIV Online are a new item that players can farm and use as currency. Players must collect five of these items to make one Ahriman wing. This guide will show you how to get your hands on the elusive feathery finery, no matter which class you play!
The “blue yarzon leg ffxiv” is a quest in Final Fantasy XIV that allows players to farm Ahriman wings. The quest requires players to kill the Ahriman and then collect its wing from the corpse.
Ahriman wings may be obtained by fighting the many Ahriman creatures that can be found throughout the game. These are voidsent mobs with one massive eye, a big mouth full of teeth, and bat-like wings that soar about.
While there are many distinct types of Ahriman creatures that may be found in Eorzea, only one can be found in the wild. They’re simply known as “Ahriman,” and they may be found in Northern Thanalan, bordering Dalamud’s Talons (X:24.5, Y:21.4).
Northern Thanalan is first encountered in “A Hero in Need,” a level 49 Main Scenario Quest.
The ahriman in this zone are level 44 and may be located east of the Ceruleum Processing Plant, the second aetheryte on the map.
More ahriman-like monsters may be discovered in FATEs, levequests, and dungeons (all of which we’ll go into in depth later).
Your retainers may also get ahriman wings by going on hunting expedition missions.
The Arimaspi are a group of people that live in Arima

Arimaspi is a mythical monster that is claimed to kidnap men while they sleep in their encampment. In Northern Thanalan, one births as the Notorious Monster FATE, “With One Eye Open” (X:25, Y:20).
This is a level 49 FATE that appears in the same location as the regular Ahriman.
Arimaspi resembles a much bigger ahriman, having lighter skin and an enormous blue eye rather than the normal red.
As a monk synchronized to level 50 with Augmented Ironworks gear, I was able to solo this FATE very simply with my chocobo partner.

Following the completion of levequests, three distinct ahriman-type creatures spawn:
- Balor
- Fernehalwes
- Milky Observation
Balor and Fernehalwes are spawned in Northern Thanalan, while Milky Observation is spawned in the Coerthas Central Highlands.
“Don’t Forget to Cry,” a level 40 levequest, introduces Balor. This is a battlecraft quest that Rurubana in Northern Thanalan gives out (X:22.2, Y:29.4).
Fernehalwes is a levequest sought target, which means it may appear at any time during one of Rurubana’s levequests. When you complete the objective and defeat a desired target, you will get additional experience points.
Milky Observation is one of the monsters that spawn from the level 40 battlecraft levequest, “Necrologos: Whispers of the Gem”.
Voilinaut in the Coerthas Central Highlands gives this task (X:12.7, Y:16.8).

The optional level 50 mission “Amdapor Keep” is obtained by completing the side quest “Ghosts of Amdapor.”
This task is granted by Nedrick Ironheart, an NPC that can be located in Western Thanalan’s Vesper Bay Location (X:12.0, Y:14.4).
You must be level 50 on a fighting class, have conquered the dungeon “Aurum Vale,” and have completed the Main Scenario Task “The Ultimate Weapon” to acquire this quest.
Smolenkos, another ahriman-type voidsent with a possibility of dropping ahriman wings, may be found within Amdapor Keep.
The mobs within, including the smolenkos, are level 50 since this is a level 50 task.
Keep in note that since these creatures are situated in a dungeon, they won’t respawn until you restart the instance, making this location ineffective for farming things.
Getting Your Retainers Ready
If you have a retainer that is at least a level 46 Disciple of War or Magic, he or she may be able to track down these winged voidsent and bring you some ahriman wings.
A hunting exploration endeavor seeking ahriman wings becomes available as an option when you reach level 46.
Depending on the amount of your retainer, these activities might take anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes to accomplish.
Depending on their gear’s average item level they’ll be able to acquire between 5 and 15 ahriman wings throughout that period.
Alchemy’s Applications

Three separate alchemical formulas call for Ahriman wings:
- At level 44, you have a mega-potion of mind.
- Level 46 has a gold needle.
- Level 55 wing glue
Wing glue is then used to make a variety of weapons, tools, and masks, including High Steel Kris, a level 62 rogue’s arm.
The mega-potion of mind is a consumable that gives you a 16 percent increase in your mind stat for 15 seconds. When utilizing the healer class, your mind has an impact on the efficacy of your spells.
In Final Fantasy XIV Ahriman is the mount that players can get from completing a quest. The best way to farm Ahriman wings is to go into the area called “The Stone Vigil” and kill all of the enemies in there. Reference: ff14 ahriman mount .
