How the Disney+ Series Sets Up Multiple Marvel Studios Projects

In the last few years, Marvel Studios has been releasing a string of movies that have been more successful than their predecessor studio films. The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor have all been box office hits, and the Disney+ series is the next evolution in this line-up. In a recent interview with Collider , Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, commented that they are “very excited” about the upcoming Disney+ series. He also added that “This is great for the studio”.

Marvel’s new streaming service, Disney+, has found its first big series pickup. The service has announced an exclusive deal with the House of Mouse to bring all of its Marvel properties to the platform. First up will be the upcoming Cloak and Dagger TV series, which will be executive produced by the team behind the successful New Warriors series (executive producer/showrunner Jeph Loeb and executive producer/director Jim Chory ). The series will debut on Disney+ on November 22, and will also premiere a one-hour premiere TV movie before the series’ start date.

It’s been a long time coming, but Disney’s own streaming platform Disney+ is now available to subscribers. This is just the first step in the ambitious plan that Disney has for the future of Marvel Studios, which also includes a number of spinoff and sequel TV series based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films.. makes no secret of the fact that he is shaping the future of Phase 4: The Marvel Studios original series will have far-reaching implications for the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and the multiverse – as the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) embarks on his own adventure through time and space. After the abduction and escape from the Tesseract, when Earth’s mightiest heroes traveled to 2012 in Avengers: In Endgame, Loki creates a branching timeline and is immediately stopped by the Time Shifting Authority. Arrested for crimes against the sacred timeline, also known as the most important part of the MCU, Loki will have to team up with Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) to catch an even bigger threat or face the oppression of reality. All of these stories are connected in their own way and have consequences. I think our goal in creating the Loki series was definitely that it would have far-reaching implications for the entire MCU in the future, Michael Waldron, lead writer of the series, who also wrote the script for the upcoming Doctor Strange feature film in the Madness Multiverse, told Total Film about the relationship between Loki and Doctor Strange 2. Did I have to clean up the mess I made [with Loki]? Maybe I am. As Loki, the vicious villain, travels through time and space in the film, here you’ll discover how the Marvel Studios series can fit into the multiverse story of Phase 4:

Spider-Man: No return home

(Photo: Marvel Studios / Sony Pictures) The action takes place after the events of Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, the film’s sequel is expected to see Spider-Man Unmasked (Tom Holland) clash with the Sinister Six from the multiverse, villains from other dimensions who can’t find their way home after being foiled by the Spider-Men (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, not yet confirmed) in their respective universes. The title of the upcoming Doctor Strange movie is Doctor Strange in the Madness Multiverse, so that’s our biggest indication that the film will very directly embrace the multiverse and the madness within it, Marvel Studios president and producer Feige told Rotten Tomatoes TV about the connective tissue that holds most of Marvel’s Phase 4 together. There are, as we always like to do, before and after connections that remain to be seen and discovered. But it seemed appropriate that Doctor Strange would be the one to perform this task most directly. There are connections to the multiverse before and after the March 2022 release of the Doctor Strange sequel, meaning that Loki’s events could explain how the heroes and villains of Spider-Man’s non-existent universes will transition into the MCU. Doctor Strange in the Madness Multiverse

(Photo: Marvel Studios) Feige first announced that WandaVision Studios’ first original series would form a sort of loose trilogy with Spider-Man: No Way Home and the Doctor Strange sequel in 2022. There, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) will be able to travel between universes as Scarlet Witch, according to Olsen, who will accompany Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as he continues his investigation into the Time Stone, an infinity stone that was reportedly destroyed by Thanos (Josh Brolin) between the events of The Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Since Loki is bound by time, space and the multiverse, is the intervention of the God of Doom the cause of madness in the multiverse of madness? In 2019, Feige revealed that Loki has been linked to a Doctor Strange sequel, directed by Sam Raimi. Previous – Next

Door: Love and thunder

(Photo: Marvel Studios) Hiddleston is not one of the famous actors in the movie Thor: Love and Thunder, in which Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Loki’s adopted brother, is reunited with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) when she becomes the Mjolnir-wielding goddess of thunder. Loki appeared in all three Thor films, taking on a more heroic form as he and his brother fought to defend Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok, and was killed some time later by Thanos in Infinity War. But this version of Loki is not that Loki, and he is only one of many Loki that can appear in Loki. As Feige hinted in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, part of the fun of the multiverse and the game is seeing different versions of characters through time, and especially different versions of the titular hero. Could one of these alternate Loki appear in Love and Thunder? When asked by director Taika Waititi if Loki would be in the film, he said he couldn’t say if Hiddleston would return in Thor 4. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania

(Photo: Disney) Ant-Man and the Wasp movie plot details: Quantumania remains a mystery, but superhero duo Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne’s (Evangeline Lilly) next adventure into the quantum realm involves time conqueror Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). Kang is rumored to be making his MCU debut as Loki, and the time-traveling master could be an even bigger threat that will force Loki to cooperate with TVA or be removed from reality. In Marvel Comics, where Kang is sometimes called Immortus, the cosmic entities known as the Guardians of Time once designated Immortus as the guardian of a time stream spanning a thousand years. During the Darker Than Scarlet storyline, in which new deviations from the timeline threaten to irrevocably destroy countless pre-existing realities, Immortus recounts how he was tasked with controlling all time travel across seven millennia by unraveling the realities created by various Kengs. Young Avengers

(Photo : Marvel Comics) When Loki dies during Marvel Comics’ Siege event and is reborn as Kid Loki, a resurrected child version of himself with no memory of his misdeeds, Loki is reunited with the other young heroes in Young Avengers Volume 2: Kate Bishop’s Hawkeye, the Wiccan wizard, the shape-shifting Hulkling, Marvel’s alien super-soldier Boy, and Miss America, who is able to open portals to other dimensions and travel through the multiverse. WandaVision revealed the magical creation of Billy Maximoff (Julian Hilliard), son of Wanda Maximoff and Wigen (Paul Bettany), while Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and America Chavez (Xochitle Gomez) will soon make their live-action debuts in Hawkeye and Multiverse Madness, respectively. Since the Loki movie will feature other versions of the titular anti-hero, perhaps the God of Misfortune will be reborn as a minor troublemaker and join the Young Avengers? Marvel Studios has yet to announce any projects that will bring together young superheroes, but Feige has said that the influx of new characters in Phase 4 could mean a future teen superteam.
