Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield stunned by NSFW teleprompter

The pair appeared on This Morning when they accidentally read a side of the teleprompter that showed up because it was talking about genitals. It’s not clear what happened, but Holly Willoughby joked “Are you going to air this?” before turning away from the camera.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were both left stunned when their teleprompter turned NSFW. The TV presenters had to improvise with a little help from the audience. Read more in detail here: phillip schofield .

On today’s This Morning, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were caught surprised when an NSFW message showed on the autocue in front of them, to the point that they had to explain viewers what all the commotion was about.

The presenting team returned after the Easter bank holiday weekend to offer a jam-packed broadcast on Tuesday’s edition of the ITV show, engaging with characters including David Leigh, the journalist represented in The Thief, His Wife, and The Canoe, as well as Queer Eye star Tan France.

At one point, they showed a lighthearted piece on opulent residences owned by A-listers in the United States including Amanda Seyfried from The Dropout and Jameela Jamil from The Good Place.

The title of the piece, on the other hand, caused them to halt in their tracks and express their surprise to the nation’s viewers.

Phillip gestured to the teleprompter in front of them as viewers were informed of a competition they could enter for a chance to win a cash reward, adding that Holly had just pointed out something they couldn’t ignore.

The words ‘porn intro’ appeared on the screen in front of them, referring to the ‘home porn’ they were going to discuss with a famous real estate guru.

The co-hosts requested that the camera crew assist them in turning the lenses around to show what they were looking at on screen since just telling their viewers what they were looking at wasn’t enough.

‘We do a few things, and this was one of them…,’ Holly trailed off with a comment,

‘Well, that’s not an item I’ve written up this morning,’ she joked afterwards.

When it comes to live television, autocue chuckles are sure to happen now and again; another example occurred in December 2021, when Adil Ray got embarrassed on Good morning Britain due to a blunder.

Adil pronounced the word’sex’ instead of’six’ while seated next to co-host Ranvir Singh before explaining that the word’sex’ had displayed on the screen by accident.

‘There’s a phrase in there that says “for sex”! That’s exactly what it says!’ At the moment, he exclaimed.

Adil then instructed the camera team to display the teleprompter on the screen, demonstrating that the mistake was not his fault.

ITV’s This Morning airs daily at 10 a.m.
