Hitman 3 Sniper Assassin guide for Dartmoor

you’ve completed the Assassin Sniper mission at one of the locations in Hitman 3, you shouldn’t tackle anything until you’ve read through the story a few times and want to try something substantially different from what was in the game. In this guide we show you how to overcome this challenge on Dartmoor. This is the easiest place to get an Assassin Sniper challenge outside of Dubai.

Specific load

There is one key element you will need for this challenge, and that is a sniper rifle Whatever you take, it’s best to get rid of it. You’ll also need a briefcase to store your weapon. If you want to unlock the sniper rifle, briefcase and the 47’s fabulous outfit, follow our guide to completing the Lee Hong bypass.

In addition to the sniper rifle and briefcase, you should also carry coins. The starting point is the main road in front of the house.

Step 1 – Going home

From the spawning grounds, to the right of the main entrance to the alley. You run into the bushes so you won’t be seen. There’s a crack in the wall. When you get there, jump over it and go right.

Cross the creek here and continue to the house. They want to run through the bushes to the raised front yard.

When you reach the wall next to the house, you’ll see another breach that you can break through. Use it as a support in the front yard with some well pruned shrubs.

Agent 47 is going to crack as soon as he gets here, so stay where you are. There’s a guard patrolling your left. Go to the nearest right corner of the house, just at the edge of this small fenced garden.

When you’re done, jump over the low wall and run to the drain pipe you see in the picture above. If you stay to the right of the trees around you, you won’t stand out.

When you are in the gutter, take the sniper rifle out of the box. Agent 47 can’t climb into the gutter if he’s holding it. Fortunately, the sniper rifle stayed on his back as he climbed up.

With the sniper rifle on Agent 47’s back, climb into the gutter.

Step 2 – Access to Secret Room

At the top jump to the left and go over the front of the house. There are a few open windows that you have to go under, but they are not dangerous. You must keep shining until you reach the next gutter, which leads to the balcony of Alexa Carlisle’s room.

When you reach the top of the ravine, jump to the left and then over the edge.

Sneak over the glass doors onto that balcony. There’s a window open. There are two employees inside. Depending on your timing, Alexa Carlyle could be here. If that’s the case, wait until she leaves.

If there are only two workers alone, toss a coin through the window in the middle of the room. This will distract the NPC closest to the window and move him away from the window, allowing you to hide in the room.

Once inside the room, go through the glass doors on the left. This leads to Alexa Carlisle’s bed. Secretly.

Next to this bed is a wardrobe and on the right side is a door to the toilet. In the laundry room, an employee folds the sheets. When she’s not looking, you go to her and overpower her. Hide his body in the closet.

When it’s done, toss a coin in the back corner of the laundry room. This will attract the attention of the guard outside.

You should have enough time to put the iron on the ironing board and get out of the laundry room. When the guard comes, throw the iron at his head. Hide the guard’s body in the same locker room where you hid the clerk, then go to Alexa Carlisle’s office.

The office is located in front of the laundry room. I’m warning you. There’s a guard on the stairs as you come in. Throw the iron at his head and hide his body in a nearby coffin under the stairs.

Alexa Carlisle won’t be here for a while. Take advantage of the opportunity to get a file. You can do this by pressing the button on the nice red chair in the back of the room.

He will slide the painting behind the chair and open the safe. Enter the code for the safe, which is 1975, and get the file.

To the left of the safe is a door in the wall. It leads to a sinister room with a chair. Come on in.

At the back of this room you’ll find a small switch that you can work with. That opens the door to the Chamber of Secrets. Come on in. At this point, we have to wait for Alexa Carlisle.

Step 3 – Wait and see game

Once you’re in that room, you have to wait for Alexa Carlisle to get back to her desk. This is at about the ten minute mark of total mission duration. Use your instincts to follow him so you’re ready when he comes.

As soon as she walks into his office, she goes ballistic. That’s because you took his case. That is, she ran to the fireplace in the room and stayed there for a few seconds. Accept the challenge of the Peeping 47 by observing them through the peephole.

When she goes to her private room. Have your sniper rifle ready. If you don’t have a sniper rifle, you can still do it without being seen, and thus retain the title of Silent Assassin

When you’re done, open the door and shoot at the target. If you used an unarmed sniper rifle, you can take the time to drag him to the secret room and hide his body in your chest.

If you use a sniper rifle without suppression, quickly shoot at his body and hide it. Then they hide in the vault and wait for their guards to disappear. This is the riskiest part of the whole thing.

Step 4 – Result

When you are sure that no one sees you, leave the secret room through the corridor door. There’s a window to your right. We have to get rid of it.

Shimmy got away and slipped through the drainpipe.

Continue the shimmy stops to go around much of the house. You try to reach the nearest drainpipe, which you can descend to get to ground level.

When you get down, tape the wall and leave your head in the bushes on the left. This area is a bit of a blind spot for patrols and surveillance personnel, so you should be able to take cover with relative ease.

You can then sneak up to the main road and head that way. Anyway, the boat’s there, so we’re taking it.

Keep walking around the hedge towards the greenhouse. Several NPCs work here. There is also a guard patrolling the conservatory. Once the guard is away from these NPCs, he sneaks out and grabs the crowbar lying on some crates.

Use the crowbar to enter the greenhouse through the nearest door. The key of the boat lies on the terrace furniture inside.

Now you can sneak into the bushes and make your way to the boat to get out of Dartmoor.
