Hearthstone Fractured in Alterac Valley Onyxia mini-set coming February 15 with 35 new cards

The release of the Onyxia mini-set is almost here! We are now just days away from a fresh new card set that will bring you plenty to think about in regards to deck building. This is where I’ll give my thoughts on how aggressive decks should look, as well as provide some insight into what cards can be played together if you want your list to play like it was expected before the expansion dropped.

The “hearthstone mini set 2022 ” is a new Hearthstone set that will be released on February 15th with 35 new cards. The set will feature the most recent in-game event, Alterac Valley.

On February 15, a mini-set of 35 new cards will be released for the Fractured in Alterac Valley Hearthstone expansion These cards will be available in standard Alterac Valley packs, or the complete 66-card mini set may be bought for $14.99 with 2000 in-game money. There’s also the option of purchasing an all-golden set for $69.99.

4 legendary cards, 1 epic card, 14 rare cards, and 16 common cards are included in the new collection. These will be disclosed on the Hearthstone Twitter account over the following several days. Once the reveals are finished, you may go to the card library to view them all.

On February 15, the min-set isn’t the only thing to look forward to. On the same day, Patch 22.4 will be released, providing enhancements to Battlegrounds, Mercenaries, Duels, and Arenas. Players with Battleground Perks will also have early access to three new heroes: Varden Dawngrasp, Rokara, and Onyxia. On March 1, these heroes will be available for purchase.

Battleground Finisher animations have been introduced to the store, as well as a new limited-time mercenary event in which players must accomplish a series of 10 thrilling tasks in order to obtain an epic Chi-Ji mercenary card. The deadline for completing all ten assignments is March 9th.

The following are the patch notes

Vanndar the Diamond is on his way!

The Alliance has won the Conflict for Alterac Valley after a hard-fought battle! All players will get a free Diamond copy of Stormpike Vanndar when they check in to celebrate their triumph. Even if the war for Alterac Valley is finished, your personal event quest chain must be completed before the conclusion of the Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion cycle.

NEW ITEMS IN THE SHOP (COSMETIC)

Bob is back with another method to make the Tavern more unique and personal: Battlegrounds Finishers! When your Hero wins a round of battle, Battlegrounds Finishers are animations that substitute the regular Attack motion. Astral Impact, Bob’s first Finisher, is a two-stage Finisher. That means it will display a special animation everytime your Hero wins a round, followed by a larger animation when you do 15 or more damage to your opponent! In the future, keep an eye out for more amazing Battlegrounds Finishers.

Bob is bringing two new Battlegrounds Boards to pick from, in addition to the first-ever Finisher. Join ninaisnoob on her YouTube channel on February 14 at 1 p.m. Pacific for talks with Cosmetics Production Lead Alicia Cornelia and Features Lead Chadd Nervig on Battlegrounds Finishers and the new boards! The above-mentioned Jade Gardens Battlegrounds Board will be accessible as soon as the patch is released. The Astral Impact Finisher and the Cosmic Study Battlegrounds Board, as well as all other new Battlegrounds cosmetics, will be available on February 22.

* Finishers in Battlegrounds are equipped worldwide, so any Hero you use will employ the Finisher you have equipped anytime you win a round of battle. At the conclusion of any round of battle, both players will be able to view the winner’s Finisher.

Bug Fixes & Game Improvements

  • When you try to concede a game (such as the “Play 3 Games” Quests and the Alterac Valley Honor Quests), you will now be prompted for confirmation before progressing on the task. We’ve also relaxed the rules for counting such kinds of quests.
  • When playing Maestra of the Masquerade, Hero Powers now reflect the Hero’s premium level (for example, if you have a Golden Hero, your Hero Power will now be Golden as well), allowing for far stronger disguises.
  • Shadow Bolt will no longer display in the Collection Manager as a duplicate uncraftable variant.
  • Fixed an issue where Saidan the Scarlet’s effect could continue provide double boosts after he was silenced.
  • If you played Wildheart Guff and had between 10 and 20 Mana Crystals, some Mana Ramp cards would not provide Mana Crystals.
  • Playing Paralytic Poison on Kingsbane caused the “Immune while attacking” effect to cross over to any other weapons equipped throughout the game, which was fixed.
  • The Daio Chan Valeera Hero Skin had a glitch that prevented Baku the Mooneater’s effect from increasing the player’s Hero Power.
  • Fixed an issue where Lost in the Park (Druid’s Questline) would not proceed after donning Sphere of Sapience for the first time.
  • The priority of numerous Cast When Drawn cards (such as Fel Rift, Bleed, and Olgra, Mankrik’s Wife) has been updated to reflect the priority of cards like Soul Shards. Runed Mithril Rod will now reliably discount the next card drawn following any Cast When Drawn card that triggers Rod’s effect, rather than the Cast When Drawn card itself, as a consequence of this change.
  • In Battlegrounds, a bug was fixed that caused Baby N’Zoth and Brann Bronzebeard to provide an additional activation.
  • Baby Elekk would not activate for a same-statted minion if the same-statted minion’s stats changed when the same-statted minion was played (such as when another minion is giving an aura stat-buff for that type of minion).
  • “Defeat 2 Heroic Bosses” has been changed to “Complete 2 Heroic Bounties” in all Mercenary Task 7s.
  • Fixed a flaw that enabled players to enter the Training Grounds using Mercenaries they did not own, resulting in some players being banned out.
  • The visual error that caused Mercenaries Equipment Unlocks to appear as one Task before the real unlock Tasks has been fixed.
  • Anduin’s Task 11 was measuring Damage instead of Healing due to a glitch.
  • Windfury characters could no longer attack through Freeze due to a glitch.
  • Fixed an issue where Vanessa VanCleef’s Shifting Satchels Ability, while being a ranged Ability, was respecting Taunt.
  • Prepare the Cannons and Primed Armaments now reveal the stats of Eudora’s Cannons.
  • A issue that prevented certain players from joining Duels if a prior Duels run had ended prematurely has been fixed.
  • In Duels and Arena, an issue that prevented the win/loss record from being shown was fixed.
  • In a Friend Challenge, an issue that sometimes changed a player’s Favorited Card Back was fixed.
  • After logging out, an issue was fixed that prevented some Card Backs from staying designated as Favorited.
  • Finally, the Immovable Object has been moved! The accomplishment “You Are Not Worthy” was not tracking progress due to a problem.
  • Other minor performance enhancements, bug fixes, and aesthetic concerns
