Samsung has just made official the Galaxy Tab A (2019), a new version of its tablet focused on family entertainment. The slate is updated with new components, including the mid-range Exynos 7904 processor. It will be available on April 12th from 209 €.
Samsung continues to drive the Android tablet market. All ranges are served to address a variety of needs and budgets. Last year, the brand launched the high-end Galaxy Tab S4, a 2-in-1 tablet compatible with the Cover Keyboard and S-Pen. For those who use a tablet for more traditional uses such as multimedia, Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Tab A (2019) mid-range, designed to “meet the needs of all family members”. Like the new Galaxy Tab S5e, it will be released on April 12, 2019.
The Galaxy Tab A (2019) is the first shelf in the line to be equipped with an aluminium body that makes it light and strong. It features a new One UI interface and offers a children’s mode now called “Espace Enfants”. There are pre-installed games and applications adapted to the youngest ones. To top it all off, an intuitive Parental Controls allows you to control Internet use and select the content you can access.
In terms of hardware, the Galaxy Tab A (2019) is equipped with a AMOLED 10.1 inchscreen, an Exynos 7904 processor with 2 or 4 GB of RAM depending on the version. The storage capacity is 32 GB and up to an additional 512 GB can be added using a micro SD card. The battery offers an autonomy of 13 hours (viewing multimedia content).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A will be available from April 12th in Carbon Black and Steel Grey. Its prices are €209 and €249 respectively for versions with 2 and 4 GB of RAM.
