Netflix is officially available on the Freebox Revolution a few weeks after its arrival on the Freebox Mini 4K. Subscribers will finally be able to enjoy the streaming service directly on their TV box, but contrary to the promise made a year ago by Xavier Niel, the subscription is not offered at a preferential rate, nor included in the package.

Less than a month after Netflix’s arrival on the Freebox Mini 4K, the application officially arrives on the Freebox Revolution for the pleasure of subscribers. The news was announced this Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in a Press Release from Free. A year ago, at the presentation of the Freebox Delta and One, Xavier Niel promised that Netflix would be offered at a reduced price on the Freebox Revolution, but also on the Freebox Mini 4K. If the operator has kept his promise to launch the application on both TV boxes, the preferential rate is to be forgotten.
Netflix is available as an option at the same price as the various service packages: €7.99 for the Essential package, €11.99 for the standard package and €15.99 per month for the Premium subscription, which entitles you to 4K definition and sharing on 4 screens simultaneously.
Freebox Revolution: How do I get the Netflix application now?
“To access Netflix on the Freebox Revolution, simply update your Freebox, then go to the Freebox Home page on your TV and select Netflix from the Video menu,” Free said in its release. If you already have a Netflix account, simply log in from the application interface on your TV. Otherwise, you can create an account either on the Netflix website or directly on your TV and then choose a package from the Free subscriber area (Television> Netflix).
With this new deployment, it is now possible to access Netflix on the four most recent Free boxes. Only the Crystal Freebox is now missing. If the Essential package is available at no extra cost with the Freebox Delta and One packages, you have to make do with an option at the normal rate for the Freebox Mini 4K and Freebox Revolution. The option is non-binding and can be cancelled at any time.
