Exotic Glaive Redesign – Destiny 2 Games Guide

Destiny 2 is a game that’s designed to be played with your friends, but it also has the option for solo play. This inevitability of playing alone can sometimes make things difficult and lonely if you are not prepared or have no idea what you should do. On this page we discuss how Destiny 2 provides different options for those who want an easier time when it comes to solo gameplay, including Exotic Glaive weapons which were redesigned in Season 3!

The “preservation mission destiny 2 puzzle” is an exotic weapon that has been redesigned for Destiny 2. The weapon’s new design will make it easier to find on the ground in-game, and its new perks are sure to help players take down their enemies.

destiny2 9 - Exotic Glaive Redesign

The article’s substance

Many people have been disappointed by the release of the exotic glaives. I believe the exotic glaives have a fundamental design flaw in that they deliberately hamper standard glaive functioning rather than showcasing the intriguing qualities of their new weapon class (the balance between melee, ranged, and shielding). You must use the ranged attach to charge the shield, but you are unable to use it because you must reserve it for the perk, and when you eventually use the energy, you lose a large amount of special ammunition for a little effect.

I was considering how the glaives may have been created to better display the weapon class’s characteristics and, ideally, provide a more pleasurable gameplay cycle. This is the result of my brainstorming.

GLAIVE, TITAN

Element:

Showcase of Features:

Exotic Benefit:

  • Shield energy is accumulating at a rapid pace.
  • Shield is a larger-than-normal void wall (think mini banner shield, enough space for 1 guardian on either side of you).
  • Final blows by empowered allies cause your abilities to regenerate at a faster rate for a short time and grant you a small amount of shield energy. Guardians standing behind the shield gain Weapons of Light, and final blows by empowered allies cause your abilities to regenerate at a faster rate for a short time and grant you a small amount of shield energy.

Secondary Benefits:

  • Immovable Object Enhancement
  • Unstoppable Force has been improved.

Design Principles:

  • The GLAIVE, TITAN is meant to make you a tank, having your shield up as quickly as possible and as often as possible.
  • Because of the larger size, weapon benefits, and ability to recharge, your fireteam is more likely to employ the shield instead of fleeing away on their own.
  • Ability charge works nicely with Void 3.0; you can block a lot of damage and then use your skills to apply Suppression, Volatile, Weaken, and Overshield.

GLAIVE, HUNTER

Element:

Showcase of Features:

Exotic Benefit:

  • Chain lightning is caused by melee final strikes with the glaive.
  • This lightning delivers little damage, but it will stun lesser foes for 4.5 seconds and big enemies for 2 seconds (ultras, champions, and bosses will not be stunned).
  • You earn a 10 second bonus (timing resets on future stunned enemy kills) and shield energy when a stunned opponent is killed by any means (does not have to be your kill).
  • Buff gives you maximum MOB/RES/REC, drastically improves projectile range and velocity, and stuns any adversary that strikes your shield.

Secondary Benefits:

  • Grave Robber Enhanced
  • One that is improved for everyone (this will trigger off the chain lightning hits, but only buff projectile damage)

Design Principles:

  • The GLAIVE, HUNTER is meant to act as crowd control, but force you to engage in melee combat.
  • The goal of chain lightning isn’t to kill foes outright, but to stun them so you (or your teammates) can kill them to gather shield energy and activate your buff.
  • The buff keeps you alive in dangerous scenarios when you may have to engage in melee combat with a large number of opponents, boosts the efficacy of your ranged attack, and enables your shield to apply targeted stun to any enemy who strikes it, allowing you to prolong your buff.
  • The side benefits are that you’ll always have a full mag when you emerge from melee combat, and you’ll have a strong incentive to utilize the projectile attack to strike larger foes that won’t be stunned by your chain lightning.

GLAIVE WARLOCK

Element:

Showcase of Features:

Exotic Benefit:

  • Enemies are burned when they are struck by projectiles.
  • Opponents that are burned burst when they die, leaving behind a ring of fire that applies burn to enemies who stand in it.
  • Standing in a glaive-created fire patch causes shield energy to recharge (including while the shield is active; the recharge rate should equal the idle shield consumption rate), increases projectile range, velocity, and damage, and causes any projectile hits to cause a small solar explosion that burns nearby enemies.
  • Standing on a fire patch gives you and your friends maximum REC.
  • Fire patches last for 8 seconds.

Secondary Benefits:

  • Enhanced Impulse Amplifier (EIA) is a kind of amplifier that boosts the
  • Chain Reaction Enhancement (any enemy killed by a projectile, or any burn effect from the glaive, will trigger chain reaction, melee kills will not)

Design Principles:

  • The GLAIVE WARLOCK is meant to make things explode.
  • Kills produce an AOE in which adversaries are damaged and a debuff is applied, as well as an area in which you are urged to stand for benefit.
  • Ad rooms are designed to spread like wildfire, and while battling bigger targets, you may kill minor foes to improve your shield and projectile attack so you can deal with the more hazardous enemies.
  • Enhanced Impulse Amplifier (EIA) is a kind of amplifier that boosts the helps you land your hits and keep reloaded, and Enhanced Chain Reaction is obviously to keep things exploding, and also bumps up your reserves since you should be burning through projectile ammo.
