Ethernet Has No Valid Ip Configuration

:)

Hello,

First of all the address of your ethernet network card:

Ethernet card Ethernet :

DNS suffix specific to the connection .

Description ………………………….. Realtek PCIe GBE Family

Controller Physical address ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. D8-50-E6-3F-8F-55

DHCP enabled ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. : Yes

Automatic configuration enabled . Yes

IPv4 autoconfiguration address . 169.254.219.241(preferred)

Subnet Mask . . . . 255.255.0.0

Default gateway . . . . . . :

NetBIOS on Tcpip . . . . . . Enabled

displays an address starting with 169.X.X.X.X which means that your pc did not find the DHCP server (server responsible for assigning IP addresses) that is in your box, router, modem, etc … and that it has assigned itself an ip address.

So you need to have an IP address that matches your cubicle’s IP address.

Did you make sure that the other computers connected via Ethernet are working ??

I would need more details such as the ip configuration of another pc on the same network.

Try (if you have the possibility) to put a PC (which already works) instead of yours, connect it with your cable and see if it works.

Good luck
:)
