Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be released on October 28, 2016. While waiting for the Z Fighters adventures to continue (the name is almost canonical at this point), Bandai Namco recently unveiled the contents of the special editions that will be available for the PS4 or Xbox One, as well as a new trailer and the official game logo.

New opponents, a new story
From what we can see in this brand new trailer, the player will have to face new opponents, such as Zabon, Dodoria or even Slug, the main antagonist of the animated movie The Threat of Namek. In addition, it seems that the hub in which the player will move between missions will no longer be Toki Toki City, but a place similar to a normal earth city, named Conton City. Much larger than the hub of the first opus, it will be possible to move around with vehicles, flying or even teleporting!
As far as history is concerned, from what we can deduce, just as in the first game, opponents will be able to drastically increase their abilities by eating … A fruit? It is a fruit visible in the FVO Fratricidal Combat, in which Thales comes to Earth to plant the Tree of Life, a tree capable of draining the energy of living beings, before concentrating this vital energy in fruits. These, once devoured, can increase the power of the people who consume them tenfold.

The content of special editions
Two editions, one shared by both consoles, the Collector’s Edition, and one exclusive to the PS4, the Deluxe Edition. The latter will unfortunately not be available in France.
