[D2] Trials Of Osiris Megathread [2021-08-20]

Trials of Osiris will be the second Trials of Osiris tournament of the Destiny 2 era. The last Trials of Osiris was held in July of 2018, and featured the Io and The Farm maps. The Trials of Osiris tournament will be held from August 21st to August 23rd, 2021.

Since [D2] Trials of Osiris is a big event and it will take place this weekend, we wanted to create a dedicated thread to discuss all the event’s details. You can find all the necessary information in the OP, so don’t forget to read it before posting.

Trials of Osiris is a 5v5 PvP mode for Destiny 2. The Megathread is a continuation of the Trials of Osiris Megathread formed by /u/Mars_Owl_Lands in the /r/DestinyTheGame subreddit. The final Bungie patch for the Trials of Osiris has been released, and now we can begin the Trials of Osiris for the first time in 4 years. What is Osiris’ Trials?

The Trials of Osiris are the peak of PvP. Every weekend, the top players fight in a 3v3 elimination tournament with one objective in mind: to win. Flawless is the way to go.
Begin by visiting Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar and purchasing one of the available passes (see below).
You must win 7 matches without losing one to achieve Flawless and the Lighthouse.
It employs Win-Based Matchmaking, which means you’ll be pitted against opponents that have a comparable number of victories on their card. As you win more matches, the difficulty of the contests will increase.
There is no matching for fireteams. You must form a group of your own!
The artifact’s extra power is not activated, thus the power level is important.

What is the duration of the Osiris Trials?

What is the best place to look for Guardians to compete with in the Trials?

Fireteams, www.The100.io, the Xbox LFG system, DestinyLFG.net or DestinyLFG.com, or the Bungie.net recruiting forum are all options (also available through the Bungie App).
