Conan Exiles PC Update 2.5 adds Server Transfers – Patch Notes on August 19

Conan Exiles PC Update 2.5 adds Server Transfers – Patch Notes on August 19

Developer Funcom announced today that Conan Exiles’ PC version is getting an extensive update this week. The new 2.5 update will add server transfers, allowing you to seamlessly move your character from PC to console or vice versa. In addition, the Update will add new items to loot tables, balance changes, and game updates to improve the overall quality.

Conan Exiles is Minecraft meets Conan the Barbarian. It’s a brutally difficult survival game inspired by the movies and created by the people who brought you hardcore games Red Dead Redemption and Fallout: New Vegas.

The PC patch for Conan Exiles has been released and server transfers are now available! With this update, owners of the Early Access version can use the new server transfer feature to move their characters to another server. In the future, this will be expanded to include the ability to transfer characters to and from any offline server, while the game is not running.

Conan Exiles finally received some new DLC today. Funcom has issued a new update, and we’ve got the entire patch notes for you.

Conan Exiles Update 2.5 is now ready for download, but only for PC. For the time being, neither the PS4 nor the Xbox have received a similar upgrade.

A new weapon, server transfer recipes, and much more are included in today’s release. Of course, there are also bug fixes and stability enhancements.

Patch Notes 2.5 for Conan Exiles

Conan Exiles PC Update 2.5 adds Server Transfers – Patch Notes on August 19

  • A number of crashes and stability problems have been addressed.
  • Memory management has been improved across various gaming platforms, particularly on consoles, to enhance performance.
  • We’ve also concentrated on optimizing the Exiled Lands to use less memory and resources, resulting in a smoother experience, particularly on consoles.
  • The spawn list in the admin panel has been optimized to use fewer resources.
  • The blood system has been optimized to use less resources. The same level of barbarism at a lower price!
  • For PC, the visual quality scalability settings have been updated, and a new Cinematic graphical preset has been introduced.
  • When high-tier religious goods were chosen in the crafting queue, the game might crash or become unresponsive.
  • Restarting the server should no longer result in the destruction of previously stable construction components.
  • In the Settings menu, there is now a Performance mode.

exploits

  • On the Siptah map, additional enhancements to the Anti-Undermesh tool have been made. As we work on it, this is still not enabled on official servers.
  • A bug in the Vault refresh mechanism has been fixed.
  • An undermesh flaw was fixed.
  • While assaulting, the option to switch between first and third person camera viewpoints was disabled.

newadditions

  • Using the settings ini file, you can now blacklist feats. FeatsBlacklist=(“x”) has been expanded by FeatsBlacklist=(“x,” “y,” and “z”).
  • Four new claw weapon recipes have been introduced, all of which are categorized as such:
    • At level 6, the Skirmisher feat grants Bone Claws.
    • At level 13, you can use Punching Daggers Made of Iron.
    • At level 32, you can use Punching Daggers Made of Steel.
    • At level 54, you can equip Hardened Steel Punching Daggers.
  • A new Small Animal Pen has been added to the game. This new choice takes up a fraction of the area of its larger version, but it can only contain one animal at a time.
  • A new NPC adversary has been added. As this is currently a work in progress, it is only accessible in the admin panel for now.
  • Under the “General” tab, a new server option has been added: “Disable construction during time-limited PvP.” This option prevents players from constructing during “Time-Restrict PvP Building Damage” periods if it is enabled.
    • Server administrators may also use a whitelist mechanism for this new option.
  • A new server option for adjusting thrall damage to NPCs has been introduced. Yes, at long last.
  • Frostsmithing now includes a wider range of weapon kinds (Great Sword, Arrows, Maul, War-Axe, Daggers, Shield and Spear).
  • Weapons that were recently equipped are now sheathed on the player character. The functionality may be turned on or off via a gameplay option. It may also be used to make the function operate just for you and not for other players.
    • Sheathed weapons will also be visible on idle thralls and NPCs.
  • Weapon recipes have been updated:
    • Sword of Steel, Short is a level 31 weapon.
    • At level 55, you can get a Short Sword Made of Hardened Steel.
    • Steel Great Axe is a level 32 item.
    • At level 56, you can get a Hardened Steel Great Axe.
  • A new weapon archetype has been added: Dual Axes! Dual axes have been added to Havok, Malice, and Whirlwind blades.
  • Zath is on his way to Siptah. On the Isle of Siptah, the religion teaching item for Zath will now drop during surges from T3 and T4 Zath priests.
  • Heirs of the North banner-feat instructor was added.
  • Character transfer across servers is now possible. More information is available on this site 4.
    • If the game language is set to Russian, French, or Italian, this problem may not function. We’re working on a fix for this in a future release. In the meanwhile, before transferring your character, please change the game language to guarantee proper functioning. After the procedure is complete, you may undo the language change and continue playing normally.
  • For private servers, new server options have been introduced to tailor the Server Transfer functionality to their needs:
    • ServerTransferEnabled (default: false): Allows characters to be imported to the server. The ability to export from the server is always turned on.
    • CanImportDirectlyFromSameServer (default: false): Prevents players from importing characters directly from the same server they were exported from.
    • ServerTransferServersWhitelist: a list of server addresses, as well as ports, from which players may import characters. ServerTransferServersWhitelist=(“127.0.0.1:7777”), for example, is turned on by adding at least one address to the list. CanImportDirectlyFromSameServer is not overridden.

  • The Early Access Wartorn Rhino skin was not visible due to a bug. When the necessary accomplishments have been mastered, the Wartorn Rhino recipe will now appear (Firebowl Cauldron).
