Hello, here are the details.

When I want to open the image file it says Sorry… When I want to download the image, a new window opens, white with only access is denied written on it.

Here’s the url:

https://attachment.outlook.office.ne…tlook.live.com

If that’s what you’re asking.

Thanks for the help.

Do you use Microsoft Office Outlook to check your e-mails?

Sincerely,

KaKi87.

No. I log on to the same site that I logged on to when I was a Hotmail guy… And I arrive on Outlook because Hotmail doesn’t exist anymore, it seems to me…

okkk 14:55 18/04/2016

I have exactly the same problem:

sorry… we couldn’t open the image and if I try to download access is denied

I have been unable to open or download the image on outlook for 2 days.

Anyone have a solution?

Thank you very much.

Does this attachment problem occur in every email you receive?

Would you like to try? ==> @johnWalle and @okkk would you be willing to send me your email addresses by PM and I’ll send you an email with an attachment?

Then if it still doesn’t work, please take a screenshot.

Sincerely,

KaKi87.

Same for me;

I have an outllook account;

several e-mails containing photos;

as of yesterday, I can’t open the PJ’s anymore.

All right, then,

Not knowing what to do I will give you the advice given on the Microsoft forums:

– Check that you are using the

latest version of your Internet browser

– Check that your Internet browser accepts cookies

– Try to clear the cache of the browser

– Try the private browsing mode (with no extension enabled)

Sincerely,

KaKi87.

Thank you for your response;

I have 2 hotmail addresses; the problem is only on one address:

address A; opening PJs under ex plorer or mozilla

address B: impossible to view PJs on explorer or mozilla

not being a general pb, only that at this address, I really don’t understand the origin…

Hi,

I’ve had the same problem since that night. Here’s the temporary and wobbly solution I found:

Since I’m running XP Pro SP2 32bit and I want to stay under the old Firefox 32.0.2, I spoofed the iPhone 3.0 browser:

User Agent : Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16

App Code Name : Mozilla

App Name : Netscape

App Version : 5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16

Platform : iPhone

Vendor : Apple Computer, Inc.

There are Firefox extensions that allow you to do this, like User Agent Switcher…

With this, Outlook OWA loads its scripts for mobile display and attachments are downloadable.

It’s a very original method…

But why stay on XP Pro with an old Firefox?

Sincerely,

KaKi87.

Hello,

Following you on the problems of PDF on Outlook, live and hotmail

I too since a few days, I can’t open the Pdf files anymore, for the photos in

attachment on the other hand, it works.

I enclose a screenshot that appears when I want to open the PDFs.

On the other hand I am on SFR and I have no problem to open the same PDFs.

by forwarding the Outlook message to my SFR mailbox I can open

the PDF and read it normally with Adobe Reader.

Do I need to set up either outlook or Adobe Reader?

Thank you for your response.

Yours sincerely.

Good morning,

We are here on the subject of JohnWallW4nks741n ,laurentbis ,okkk, narbonne44a your intrusion into this subject is not rational. You have a similar problem to JohnWall no doubt, but you are misleading the Khaki87 intervener who overlooks the principal claimant. Unless you are sure that you have the same model, type and brand, and the same configuration as JohnWall, the proposed solutions may be useful to you. If not, open your own subject.

A johnwall,

Which browser, which Windows LIve Messenger or Oulook express do you use? And which OS

If it’s WLM which version?

If there are files that you have problems with, save them on the desktop to see the extensions. And say that in your next answer

just for precision, when I’m under Internet Explorer it works well, so

it’s in relation with Firefox, maybe it’s necessary to set it up for it to work.

thank you.

Good evening, I have the same problem. Since Hotmail has migrated to Outlook, I can no longer open attachments. It’s driving me crazy. I have to forward my e-mails to another address. The weirdest thing is that if I receive several attachments, I just have to click on ‘Download all’ and then the attachments download correctly whereas when there is only 1 attachment, by clicking on ‘Download’ which appears (there is not the ‘all’ as for several pj), the page opens with a very long url and NEVER deliver the attachment. Not understanding anything?? I’ve tried every browser, pc & mac,… Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Does anyone have an explanation, please?? Microsoft is disappointed because I’m afraid that there is no solution except an update from them, but I still prefer the Outlook interface to other messengers so I persist 😉

Good evening,

Since yesterday, I have exactly the same problem as you, namely impossible to download a single attachment (message: impossible to connect to the server: //https:/attchment/outloock/office.net/…

On the other hand, when there are 2 attachments to download, it works by downloading everything.

Only solution, download in the drive, then open the file from the drive.

But that’s not a solution.

If someone has a way to debug (deleting all history, cookies and cache does not solve the problem), I’m in.

Thank you in advance.
