Bouygues Telecom continues to build on its momentum. The operator has now decided to increase the bill for subscribers to the B&You 20 GB package to 5 euros. In exchange for 2 GB more data in Europe, customers will have to pay an additional 3 euros per month. This time, it is impossible to refuse the increase and keep the old package.

“We inform you that you will soon be able to benefit from services reserved exclusively for our customers on your 20 GB B&You package” announces Bouygues Telecom in an email sent to the subscribers concerned, and relayed by Univers Freebox on February 5, 2020.

From 13 March 2020, B&You 20 GB customers will benefit from 2 GB of additional data in Europe and French overseas departments and territories. The envelope allocated to the package outside France therefore climbs to 4 GB per month. Be careful, these 2 GB more are in fact“deductible from your French envelope”, says Bouygues Telecom.

Unsurprisingly, the offer comes with a price increase of 3 euros per month. The B&You 20 GB package therefore rises to 8 euros per month, compared to only 5 euros previously. However, the operator assured that the price of the package was valid for life. The new tariff will come into force on 13 March 2020.

Impossible to refuse the increase!

This time, Bouygues Telecom does not allow its subscribers to refuse the offer and to keep their package at the price of 5 euros per month. “In accordance with Article L 224-33 of the French Consumer Code, we remind you that you have the option of cancelling your contract, without penalty, up to 4 months after the change in your offer comes into force.” defends Bouygues Télécom in the e-mail sent to subscribers. As a general rule, however, Bouygues gives its subscribers the possibility of refusing its offers.

If you don’t like this new offer, all you have to do is cancel your subscription at and look for another package with Bouygues or another operator. What do you think of the telecom method? Are you going to cancel or keep your subscription? We are waiting for your opinion in the comments.
