Want to know how to beat the Black Ops zombie mode Easter Egg “Origins” in one go? The key is to know your zombies, so take note of the following:
Zombies are a fun, yet challenging obstacle in the Call of Duty franchise. They’re especially difficult in the Black Ops Cold War Zombies Outbreak Easter Egg quests, but the guide below will help players make it through the chaos. Zombies are a fun, yet challenging obstacle in the Call of Duty franchise. Every year, Treyarch adds a new map to the Call of Duty zombies mode, and it becomes more and more complicated. The Zombies Cold War Easter Egg is by far the most complicated one yet, and it gets even more complicated with the Season 3.5 update. Here is a complete guide to the Cold War Easter Egg, including how to get to the Moon in Zombies Cold War.
Image: Call of Duty One of the main features of the mid-season update, or season 3.5, are the changes to the breakout game. Call of Duty’s popular zombie mode has undergone some changes. Players now have a deeper Easter Egg and a main quest at their disposal. This is a complicated and difficult task, so you should follow our guide on how to make the Black Ops Cold War Zombies Outbreak Easter Egg for Season 3.5. Easter Egg requires you to run around, collect objects and complete small tasks. If you know where to look, this part is not too difficult. There are several steps that you need to follow in a specific order. The final boss is not that easy, so be prepared. If you’re playing solo, we recommend using Aether Shroud to make some rooms more manageable, as we’ll see later. As a team, divide your perks equally between Frenzied Guardian and Ring of Fire to maximize boss damage.
How to complete the Easter egg from Black Ops Cold War Outbreak Season 3.5
To complete the Black Ops Cold War Zombies Outbreak Season 3.5 Easter egg, you will need:
- Go to the third round and find the Unknown Signal.
- Set the three signal amplifiers to the desired frequencies and play with the unknown signal.
- Approach the lighthouse and answer Maxis, then go to the next map.
- Find and shoot the four hidden monkeys and recover the microfilm slides.
- Put the slides in the projector and then go to the lighthouse to help.
- Go down into the bunker, remove the lock and find the three starting keys.
- Activate the terminals and defeat the final boss in less than nine minutes.
Below are the five maps with the locations clearly marked for each item you need to find. You can always refer to it, as it will help you with the Easter egg challenge.
Unknown signals and signal amplifiers
You must first go to the third round, then you can start searching for the unknown signal. The location depends on the map you are on, so check out the maps we have made. Interact with the radio and destroy the horde of zombies that have appeared. No problem. Next, you will find three signal amplifiers in the area that are tuned to different frequencies. Set the signals so that you can hear Maxis’s voice. When the light turns red, which it probably will, you must first deal with the hordes of zombies that appear nearby. After they die, you can change the frequencies. Do this for all three signal amplifiers until you can finally communicate with the unknown signal again. Then go to the lighthouse as usual to end the tour. You should see an option to reply to Maxis, who you tried to contact via radio from the previous steps. Answer it and then move on to the next area.
Monkeys and slides on microfilm
Now it’s time to destroy the little monkey statues or bombs hidden all over the map. They are also clearly marked on the maps below. There are four, and you must destroy all four. You need to get a microfilm of the last monkey. However, in some cases, if this is your first attempt at making this Easter egg, it will not work. If so, move to the next map and try again. In my case, I did it on my first monkey after moving to the next map. Finally, bring the microfilm slides on the card to the projector. There’s a projector on every card except the hand. Unfortunately, if you’re unlucky and stuck with the hand, you’ll have to go to the next map again. Once you’ve found the projector, go ahead and use it to insert the slides. Continue through the slide show and interact with the projector again until the sequence is completed. Finally, you can go to the next area by going to the lighthouse, which will still be the hand when you have viewed the slides. Now it’s time for the hardest part and the beginning of the Operation Reverse task.
Starter switches and terminals
Follow the mark to the bunker and remove the lock. The computer terminal is located in the basement of bunker A-2. Interact with the terminal to release the lock and prepare for action. By the way: The location is rather confusing, but know that there are three main silos: A, B, and D. You can’t get to C, but there’s a tunnel marked C. The position of the start buttons can be found here :
Start button 1
At the end of Tunnel C, interact with the corpse. The deadly red mimic will multiply and you need to eliminate it as soon as possible. Many other Mimics will appear, but when the big red is dead, they disappear. The red simulator resets the start button.
Start button 2
Go to the back of Silo A and find the red tunnel. Next to the blue barrel is a small gasoline trap. Pick it up and look for the blue monkey coming out of the ventilation shafts in the Silo A area. Don’t get too close to the monkey and set your food trap next to it. That’s how you lure the monkey out. Activate the essential trap with the user key to catch the monkey while he is on the essential trap and get the trigger key.
Start button 3
Go to the bottom of Hopper B and find the red Aetherium Harvester. Activate it, then run around Silo B to destroy the purple crystals. They drop little crystals that you have to put in the harvester. A total of twenty crystals must be inserted. After you’ve filled the canister, grab it after the animation and bring it to Bunker D. Use the canister on the giant purple glowing jellyfish to blow it up. The key to launching the ICBM is in the jellyfish, which you need to get sucked into if you’re standing on the grass when you detonate it.
Finally, it’s time for the launch sequence. You can do it any way you want, but if you do Silo A, then D, then B, it’s easy. Basically, look for a similar terminal in each of the bunkers. After activating the first, you have 45 seconds to move on to the next. Once you’ve activated all three modes, a nine-minute timer begins for the final boss fight.
How to fight the Legion (boss fight) in Outbreak
From the main terminal, located between all the bunkers, go up the stairs and open the door. Time is of the essence here, so be quick. But first: That’s how the boss works. You’ll probably want your team to use Frenzy Guard and Ring of Fire. Using monkeys as a distraction makes it much easier to control. The boss has armor, and when the armor breaks, spheres appear around him that you must destroy to take his health. When you attack the Legion, try to destroy its armor. Soon after, zombies appear and one of the players has to deal with them. You should always focus on destroying the boss’ armor. Once the armor is cracked, the boss falls. When this happens, your entire team should focus on one of these areas. There are three orbs, and destroying an orb takes away a third of the legion’s health. A player with Mad Guardian ensures that everyone can concentrate on destroying the bullets. If you have good weapons and equipment, you can withstand the attack and destroy the Legion. It’s certainly not an easy battle. The M16 with brain rot is a good option, but if you’re alone, try Shatter Blast on your tactical rifle to crack armor. Good luck!
