As a result, the indie game market is worth over $10.5 billion. We are at the height of indie game development.
We’re getting close to the end of July, which means it’s right around the corner for the most prolific month of the year when it comes to gaming: the summer. July is also when the biggest indie game releases of the year get released, with some of the biggest titles set to drop in the coming weeks. This month’s line up is pretty solid, with a lot of well known games and some new ones that are worth your attention.

From Roman antiquity to modern times, you must explore the world to find out exactly who committed the sin. There is a curse that if one person commits a sin, the whole region is doomed. You interview audience members in different scenarios, and your decisions during the game are important. Combat is an option, but it’s not a major part of the game and is somewhat discouraged by the developer. If you fail, you end up at the beginning of a time loop until you discover who is behind the sin, and have to face different endings. The Forgotten City will be released on the 28th. July for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Nintendo Switch.

The new installment of the popular tower defense franchise Orcs Must Die 3 takes players 20 years after the events of its predecessor.
