Atlanta-Based Bitcoin ATM Provider Launches Over 100 New Machines Across 24 States in the US

The bitcoin machine provider has announced the installation of new machines in several US states. Bitcoin Depot will soon launch more than 100 new bitcoin ATMs in 24 states.

Bitcoin Depot expects 200% growth by 2021

According to the company, about 115 BTC ATMs will be installed, twice as many as in the past six months. Globally, the ATM network has passed the 2,000 mark and has been further expanded with the introduction of new ATMs in the United States.

According to distribution, the Atlanta-based company will install 14 new kiosks in Alabama, 13 in Minnesota, 12 in Florida and the final 12 in California. Brandon Mintz, President and CEO of Bitcoin Depot, commented on the expansion:

Thus, cryptocurrencies offer many opportunities for people who do not have access to traditional financial services. B. Banks, yes. Our kiosks essentially offer them access through a digital wallet on their phone, which converts their money into crypto currency that can be used for transfers, bills or investments. We are proud that our continued expansion will provide this opportunity to even more people around the world.

As for the company’s expectations, Bitcoin Depot expects to grow by 200% by 2021, although it hasn’t provided more details on where the new bitcoin ATMs will be located.

The bitcoin ATM industry is steadily gaining popularity.

With the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies among the public, BTC ATMs are becoming increasingly popular. In addition, Bitcoin.com Newswire reported in October 2020 that the number of hotels with bitcoin ATMs in Switzerland is increasing.

Bitcoin ATM operator Libertyx added the ability to withdraw money from 5,000 Bitcoin ATMs in the same month. The CEO said at the time that the addition tripled the number of bitcoin ATMs, allowing users to withdraw their BTC.

By September 2020, the number of bitcoin ATMs worldwide already exceeded 10,100. Statistics from coinatmradar.com show that there are currently 17,003 cryptocurrency traders in 68 countries.
