Annie has always been a popular League of Legends champion.
It’s never out of style to get beaten up by a tiny girl.
Plus, a five-man Tibbers can always turn the game around. So, in the spirit of being a young girl, it’s time to put on some makeup and play dress-up!
There are a lot different skins to select from, so my objective is to rate them all depending on what they bring to the table and how much they cost.
Annie, the Prom Queen
Games is responsible for this image.
RiotThe 7th of February, 2011 was the date of release. The cost is 520 RP.
This is a very basic and inexpensive skin. However, it is far and by my least favorite.
Given the low price of 520 RP, it’s hardly surprising that the skin merely modifies Annie and Tibbers’ character models. However, the concept is quite uninteresting.
Despite the fact that Annie is a Prom Queen, this has big beauty contest overtones. Annie, on the other hand, seems to be the stereotypical cruel girl with wealthy parents who appears in every Disney film.
The fire particles make no sense with this skin, and the splash art is just OK.
I’ll give it bonus points for giving Tibbers a fedora, which is pure comedic gold. However, this isn’t enough to lift it out of last place.
Annie, the Red Riding Hood
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Released on April 27th, 2010 with a cost of 520 RP
This skin, like the previous one, just alters Annie’s and Tibbers’ character models, but the animations and particles remain the same as the basic skin.
I really enjoy the concept behind Red Riding Annie, since the tale is a classic and it fits nicely with Annie’s motif in an unexpected way.
However, I’m disappointed that Riot didn’t finish the skin by turning Tibbers into a wolf. Instead, it’s the standard model with a tiny darkening!
It’s a pity, since I really enjoy how Annie’s character model was handled.
So, this is a good skin that received a big nerf in my rating since it didn’t take the natural next step toward a wonderful progression.
Annie Hextech, no. 12
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The 15th of March, 2016 was the date of publication. 10 Gemstones for the price of ten
Okay, I’ll agree that the design of this skin is really nice.
That being said, it’s much too pricey for the value it provides.
In my perspective, the character model is of a mid-tier quality. It doesn’t really wow me, but it does go well with the concept.
The new animations are rather spectacular, and they provide a welcome change from the monotony of various colors flames. And the background animation is mediocre at best, but it’s still fresh, and Tibbers looks awesome.
All of that being said, there is an other Annie skin that covers the exact same topic for a fraction of the price… In the big scheme of things, Hextech Annie comes out as a tad average.
Annie, the sweetheart
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: February 13th, 2015 The cost is 750 RP.
Sweetheart Annie was simply defeated by a new skin in its own game (mentioned further in this ranking).
Sweetheart Annie adds no new animations or particles to Annie’s character model, instead amplifying her attractiveness – and Tibbers’ terrible cuteness.
Overall, Annie’s character model is good, however I’m not sure why Riot gave her golden hair in the splash image but white hair in the game… Tibbers’ design is really amusing.
You get to maul them with a huge care-bear, to be honest.
Overall, it’s another “just average” film. But if you’re looking for a really lovely Annie skin and have a few more pennies, stay reading because we’ve got another one coming soon.
Annie in Wonderland is number ten.
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Released on August 16th, 2010 with a retail price of 1820 RP
Annie in Wonderland is one of my favorite books. And although the cosmetic upgrade has added some much-needed additional features to this skin, it still seems pricey.
The new animations are rather impressive, with vibrant colors and a mystical feel to them all, with the W stealing the show by tossing some cards into the mix.
Annie’s dancing emote and background animations now include some really calming new particles.
The character models, on the other hand, could have needed a little more work.
Annie seems to be uninteresting, even for someone with renowned skin… I had hoped much more from Tibbers than simply a pair of floppy ears.
This skin’s theme is really appropriate, to say the least.
But give me a call when it either becomes cheaper or Tibbers transforms into a terrifying Cheshire Cat-themed beast.
Annie, the Goth
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: October 27th, 2009 Digital Collector’s Pack (Digital Collector’s Pack) (Digital Collector’s Pack) (Digital
In these sorts of rankings, Goth Annie is a pain to rank.
Why?
Because it’s almost difficult to get.
Furthermore, the skin itself is a mishmash of some amazing features and other out-of-date designs. First and foremost, the character model is as retro as they come, which is a great benefit if you’re an Annie veteran but a significant disadvantage if you’re accustomed to glossy skins.
The new ability animations, on the other hand, are quite amazing, and the purple color scheme makes you appear very threatening. However, it also comes down to recolored animations.
Tibbers is a terrible presence in this room. Riot placed a lot of focus on his undead nature, but it still pales in comparison to the intricacy of recent skins.
And the new splash art is great.
Overall, Goth Annie is a one-of-a-kind skin. However, if you want to go on a quest to discover one of these Bad Boys you must adore Annie.
Annie, the FrankenTibbers
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The 19th of October, 2011 was the day on which the film was released. The price is 975 RP.
I have to give credit where credit is due, and this skin is both conceptually and technically amazing.
All of your skills have been recolored to green, which better suits the style and makes it difficult to notice your powers on the Rift.
Tibbers as the monster is also an interesting concept. And I have to admit, the character model meets up to expectations.
Annie’s character model here is very accurate to the idea, although I could imagine some people finding it unappealing since it makes no attempt to make Annie attractive.
This may be the skin for you if you want to be a menace on the Rift rather than simply a nice little girl who loves to play with matches.
Frostfire Annie is number seven.
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Released on May 24th, 2011 with a cost of 975 RP
Let’s face it, every other League of Legends champion gets a snow-themed skin these days.
However, it makes up for its lack of novelty with great character models and a modest price.
Annie is her regular preppy self — this time in a winter coat – and Tibbers is a pissed angry polar bear with a hat, as one would anticipate.
All of your ability particles have been modified and recolored blue with this skin. However, I must admit that it’s a little unfortunate that Riot maintained the default sound effects, since they completely detract from the ice magic atmosphere.
I can’t be too harsh since the pricing is just 975 RP.
However, this one could have been a little more convincing.
6. Annie in reverse
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The 6th of September, 2011 was the date of release. The price is 975 RP.
Reverse Annie is the last skin on our list, and it merely adds new character models to the game without changing the animations or particles.
But what I can say is that the concept behind this skin is quite strong.
First and foremost, I must express my admiration for the splash art. Despite the fact that its age is obvious, Tibbers has never looked so shabby. And derpiness is the skin’s backbone!
Annie is dressed up as Tibbers, and Tibbers is dressed up as Annie.
That’s all there is to say about it.
Nonetheless, the skin is much too amusing to not be in the middle of the pack.
Who knows, maybe I simply have an odd sense of humor.
Annie, the Lunar Beast
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The film will be released on February 4th, 2021. 1350 RP is the price.
Now that we’re getting close to the top, keep in mind that the margins between which skins are rated in which specific slot are razor thin.
Before I started writing, I switched them around at least five times.
Lunar Beast Annie, on the other hand, is here. It’s also rather excellent.
When it comes to character design Annie resembles every loli class I’ve ever seen in an Eastern MMORPG, while Tibbers looks like a god. So far, the skin has shown to be rather resilient.
The ability animations and particles stick to the fire motif, but they’ve been styled to make them more appealing to the eye. This is also a big plus.
And the accompanying animation is both amusing and amusing.
Lunar Beast Annie is a fantastic skin in every way, and it has set the standard high for future skins.
Annie-Versary is number four on the list.
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: October 27th, 2019 Price: Reward for the 10th Anniversary
This one, like Goth Annie, was difficult to rate because of its unique price.
It’s not as uncommon as Goth Annie. But if you weren’t alive two years ago you’re out of luck.
It’s a pity, since this skin is fantastic.
Annie’s ability animations have all been given a bright and cheery color scheme. That is reflected in her character model as well.
Riot’s milestone is commemorated in her supporting animation as well.
The R, on the other hand, is the real kicker, since you may summon a buffed Teemo to slaughter all of your foes.
This skin is a must-have for Annie mains since it never ceases to be amusing.
3. Annie from the Super Galaxy
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The 16th of October, 2017 was the date of publication. 1350 RP is the price.
This is how a futuristic skin should be done!
Annie’s character model is a little more understated in this scene. However, her toy Tibbers serves as both a weapon and an escape vehicle in her backing animation, which fits the concept well. Her two wrist-mounted control panels, which she uses to do her futuristic acrobatics, are also stunning.
The Q and W motions are essentially fire, but with a high-tech twist.
He E also has some pretty cool holographic particles, which I really like.
Tibbers is, of course, a full-fledged combat mech with all the Gundam goodies you’d expect from a skin like this.
Overall, first-rate.
2. Annie of the Café Cuties
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
On December 2nd, 2021, the film will be released. 1350 RP is the price.
This whole skin line is simply remarkable.
No Annie skin comes close to this one when it comes to the quantity of features and/or the degree of polish.
All of the animations have been totally revamped, including the flame in your hand, which is now a little cupcake.
Annie’s character model is as new and adorable as it gets. And Tibbers as a huge gummy bear with a moustache is both comical and intimidating.
However, I do have one little criticism of this skin: the new sound effects aren’t as powerful as the originals.
That isn’t enough of an annoyance to cause the skin’s rating to be substantially lowered. But that’s enough to knock it off the top place.
1. Annie the Panda
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: February 8th, 2013 The price is 975 RP.
Perhaps I’m just old-fashioned, but Panda Annie still seems to be the greatest overall value when it comes to price to quality.
Sure, the skin maintains faithful to the original fire motif, so there aren’t any new particles that will blow you away. But it’s not a problem in this case.
Annie’s character model is similarly straightforward – but masterfully executed.
And the fact that Tibbers is a gigantic panda makes perfect sense to me.
For a 975 RP skin, he also has a lot of detail.
Furthermore, the background animation (although basic) is the greatest in Annie’s whole repertoire. And the fact that this isn’t her default recollection fascinates me.
It’s impossible not to adore Tibbers when he’s hugging him. Panda Annie, in my opinion, deserves to be recognized for all of these reasons.
