are many secrets to be found in Sea of Thieves but you have to be prepared to do a lot of digging to find them. On many islands there are even small legends hidden for the curious, left behind by important people or by those who have gone before you. There are 10 magazines that you can find on Old Sea Island. The Pirate Lord wrote them, and they are outside the teaching area of the Inaugural Journey.
To be sure of visiting the Old Sea Island, you should opt for the maiden voyage. You can do this from the main menu, and there should be an option in the bottom right corner of the screen.

compared to merfolk
You can read the newspaper in the water in front of the door, wreck on the northwest side of the island. Nearby, where you’ll find the Pirate Lord’s old chest if you follow the instructions.

My secret plan diary
Starting with Diary So Close and Yet…, Diary My Secret Plan is on the other side of the ship, where you found the previous two. However, you cannot access it until you have a key called Old Sea Key. You find it by turning from the position of So Close Yet magazine and going to the top of the ship. A mast connects the boat to the waterfall. Cross it and in the water, right of the broken pole, you’ll find a key, next to some rocks.
Once you have the key, go back to Magpie’s Fortune, to the left of where you found the key. Go to the upper level of the nave, and there is a locked door there blocking access to the sanctuary. Use the old sea key to enter, and the journal My Secret Plan will be pressed against a stool to the left of where you fall.
Diary of the Sea of Doom
Go back down to the fire. From there, head to the waterfall on the left and walk to the spring. Beyond the waterfall is a cave, and if you follow it, the leaf leans on a rock next to a partially buried skeleton to reach the map.
Diary of the Sea Lords
Go back to the campfire in the middle of the island and turn around. On the left side of Magpie’s Fortune is a small cave, next to a waterfall that cuts through the middle of the boat. Follow the cave and you will find a small bridge connecting this part of the island with the next. But don’t cross the bridge yet. Go closer to the entrance of the cave again. Trees have blocked the descent, and you find the blade of the Lord of the Sea leaning against the rocks near the stairs.
Keeping a camp logbook
From the Lords of the Sea magazine site, climb the steps to the top of the mountain. You must take the path that leads you up the mountain, and there will be torches there, with a door in the middle. Turn to the door and open it with the handle at the left side of the door. The door will open to reveal a hidden fire on the mountainside. The newspaper from Making Camp is in the middle of the box, to the left of the light.
Images from the past
This magazine is located on the highest peak of the island. Leave the Make Campfire Cave and continue up the mountain, following the path to the top of the mountain. You will have to jump over rocks to find the newspaper next to a small bottle stool nearby.

To find this leaf, dive into the water and go to the east side of the island. On the other hand, if you go a little further south or southwest, you’ll find an opening that leads you to a cave where there is a boat. Enter the cave, there is a ladder on the right side. Go up the stairs and the warehouse is on the stone next to the gate. The cave will be under the Pictures of the Past magazine.
