I’m sure people watch programs like Friends or the Office at least 100 times in their lives.
And anime is no different. While some shows are always the same, others can be rewatched countless times.
Let’s look at some of those anime that offer the most trade-in value.
30. hunter x hunter (2011)
I want to start with Hunter x Hunter, because it can be hit or miss depending on your taste for shounen.
Although it is a very compact anime, it somehow manages to be as enjoyable on the second or third repeat as it was the first time.
And that’s thanks to a few key elements: the combat is deadly, the characters are likeable and the world presented is just damn interesting.
So even if you know how a particular fight will go, you can still have fun with the amazing animations and realize that Kurapika has taken a kick to the death match.
29. Cautious Hero: Hero is subdued, but too cautious.
I think this series fits that bill perfectly. Honestly, there were no surprises the first time around, because the title says it all.
Yet the comedy of the series manages to strike the right chord so consistently that it never gets boring.
There’s only one big turnaround that you can only experience once. But honestly, once you know what it is and it makes a reunion with the show a bit of a success.
If you understand the show, you probably know which part of the plot I’m talking about. If you don’t, try it!
28th Samurai Champloo
Samurai Champloo has such a cool world and such great music that I think you could play it over and over again.
Indeed, what made me personally want to participate in the series was the overall aesthetic and the love I immediately felt for the characters (and not necessarily for the plot).
By the way, sword fights literally never get old.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve seen Mugen and Jin fight a thousand times. You will always be impressed by their actions.
27. N-n!
Cute girls doing cute things is a genre that needs to be revisited.
There are no major plot points to carry the story, just a wonderful cast of characters who simply exist in their world and make us all a little happier as a result.
It never gets old.
The animation will last for years to come with K-On!
And almost all the songs used in the show are pure firecrackers. So, frankly, I see no reason not to review this show.
26th series of monogatars
The Monogatari series is just incredibly clever, and every time you watch it, you’re likely to find that sentence or scene that was so significant that you missed it last time.
Moreover, most anime seasons are excellent in their own right.
If you already know the overall plot, you can even jump back in time and relive some of the best parts of the series faster.
Personally, I always come back to Beikemonogatari for some reason. And sometimes I revisit the trilogy of films when I feel like something dark.
25. The daily life of high school students
Another aspect that gives any anime truly infinite rewind possibilities is the availability of stand-alone episodes.
You can really watch random episodes of Daily Lives or High School Boys and still be entertained by this series.
The series is so incredibly suspenseful and the jokes are so subtle that they surprise you and make you laugh more often than you proudly admit.
Even if you remember all the jokes, it’s still a good slice of life. So I recommend you give it a try (or on the contrary, reconsider).
24. stones; goals
This anime somehow breaks the rules of reviewability.
It focuses entirely on the story, and the plot twists are an integral part of the viewing experience, but it never gets boring.
Maybe it’s because the show is about time travel, so technically we’re repeating it all the time, but I enjoyed it as much the second time around as I did the first time I saw it.
It should also be noted that this program is rated S, which makes watching without entertainment a major challenge no matter how you look at it.
23rd annual death parade
Death Parade is so incredible and conceptually unique that I really find it hard to watch it once.
The series tells many different stories and has ethical connotations and moral dilemmas so strong in each story arc that you always leave with a new perspective.
I was quite young when I first saw the show. But when I tried it again a few months ago, I found that I disagreed with almost everything I thought about the show.
He also has one of the best openings.
22nd Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Madoka is one of those series where the second time you watch it, you feel like it’s a completely different series!
Without giving anything away, but there is a major plot twist that completely changes the game.
Knowing this in advance and seeing him spotting and hinting at it for a while, even though you probably missed it the first time, is just an extra layer of fun.

KonoSuba is one of my favorite comedies. And revisiting it is like an annual tradition for me.

And since most of the humor is based on the interactions between the characters, it’s hard to get enough of it.
Aqua, the most useless goddess to ever put on an isekai show, will be my best entertainment until the day I die.
20. naruto
When I say Naruto, I mean only the original series. And there are two main reasons why I highly recommend it.
The first reason is that nostalgia hits you in the heart when you can barely stand up straight. Some of the most iconic scenes and fights are found in the original Naruto: Gaara vs. Lee is the most amazing in my opinion.
The second reason is a bit stranger.
When you look at the original Naruto, some parts suddenly seem so hilarious that you know what’s going on in Shippuden and Boruto.
Seriously, watch Naruto vs. Neji and try not to laugh at how wrong Naruto was at every moment.
19. nitijou
Nitizhou has endless replay value because it is so peaceful and comfortable, and at the same time so absurd and strange.
It’s always a great show.
One minute everyone is relaxed and you feel at ease, the next you are a cow talking and biting people.
That one transition has me begging back for more.
18. logarithmic horizon
Log Horizon, in my opinion, is the master of world building. No matter how many times I watched the isekai series imitate the aesthetics of MMORPGs, I couldn’t take my eyes off Log Horizon.
I also recommend watching it more than once.
The world is so detailed, fun, interesting and alive that I find it hard to imagine anyone getting bored. Even if they know how things are going to be.
By the way, where do you get that sweet Akatsuki stuff?
17. an accomplice
One Punch Man, at least in its first season, already has a good story to tell:
A monster appears, the monster confuses the side characters, Saitama defeats him with a single punch.
But no matter how many times it happens, we always get angry and we always have a good time.
One Punch Man is exactly the kind of show you can watch over and over again. So I see no reason why that shouldn’t apply even if you’ve seen the whole series.
16. Mental loneliness
We could finally watch a cartoon!
Spirited Away is such a classic that it seems pointless to watch it more than once.
The plot of the film is, frankly, not even particularly important. It’s about the beautiful, and I mean really beautiful, world that comes to life before your eyes.
And in this world, there is no set quota.
No matter how many times you have seen it, you will always admire the craftsmanship and vision that come together in this masterpiece. It’s not a Ghibli classic for nothing.
15. Training evaluation
This show had such a dramatic and beautiful finale that I honestly thought it would hurt the show if I watched it a second time.
But no, I totally enjoyed it. And when the last scene came, even though I knew it was coming, I still scratched my eyes out.
I don’t know if I’m just a wimp, or if this show has somehow shattered the endless schmaltz that humanity is not yet ready for.
14. kill la kill
Killing the Kill has so much power that it never gets old.
The fights are always great in the series, Mako plays the comedy, the soundtrack can turn a kitten into a lion, and there are enough fans to get you through puberty three times in a year.
Besides, where do you find a series as absurdly brilliant as Kill the Kill?
Apart from the Promar, you can’t go anywhere else!
13. baracamon
I think watching Baracamon every year is the best way to stay creative and not get depressed.
The series is so cool that you can always let loose and have fun watching the antics of the characters.
It is so warm and fun that you feel like you are dreaming about your childhood or something. Also, the way he handles creativity is a great reminder for any creative person to not get stuck in his habits, but always look for new inspirations and projects that you are passionate about.
12. big blue
In case you didn’t already know, comedy has the best value for guardians.
Grand Blue stands out for me because it’s a little closer to home than most life or comedy anime. Why is that?
In college, there are as many alcohol poisonings as episodes.
This may sound strange. But if you’re in college or just graduated and you haven’t visited this gem in a while, you should definitely do so. At least then you’ll have new ideas for your next fraternity party.
11. Worthy of Hell
I’ll be honest: sometimes I just want to see people die and see the blood pouring across the screen. And no series satisfies that need as well as Hellsing.
He is a titan when it comes to non-Nakama power shows. And every time I feel overwhelmed by the twentieth speech about the importance of friendship, all I have to do is wash out the eyes and ears of a desperate vampire fighting priests.
The series has such an entertaining and emblematic aesthetic that it alone demands a reread.
10. mob psycho 100
This anime is such a feast for the eyes and the heart that it just has to be in this list.
Every fight in Mob Psycho is so incredibly well executed that it always stands out, no matter how many stunts you’ve seen in the meantime.
And unlike its big brother One Punch Man, Mob has a great coming-of-age story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Whether it’s animation, a soulful story, or a combination of both, I strongly recommend giving this series another chance.
9. geas code
Code Geass is without a doubt one of the best anime out there. And it’s one of the few series that has an ending and makes that ending incredible.
So it’s not supposed to be this convertible, is it? That’s what I was thinking.
Until I saw that one of the editors suggested that the series be reconsidered and that more attention be paid to Suzak.
That one piece of advice gave the show a completely different character, and you can honestly do the same for most of the show’s protagonists.
we focused so much on Lelouch that we missed many of the subtleties of the other characters.
8. gintama
You have to accept the fact that Gintama is not an anime, it is a religion.
So if you pay homage to the gods of comedy at least once every two years, you will go to heaven.
But seriously, this series is so absurd and so extensive that you can’t remember everything unless you’ve been immersed in it for at least a couple of years.
And that, of course, should be your goal. So do it now, while you still have the chance.
7. camp yuru
Camp Yuru is nothing less than an antidepressant and should be treated as such.
When it feels like there is a dark cloud of life hanging over you, drop it quickly and scenes of cute girls cooling off in the great outdoors will surely dispel that heavy cloud!
As I have said several times, a good aesthetic/feeling can make a series rewind endlessly. Mainly because the feelings it evokes in you are always pleasant and the time spent on it is always worth it.
6. musisi
I don’t know if it was just at my school, but I kept being told that every time you read The Little Prince, it seems a little different.
That’s what I feel about Musisi.
Because it solves such a human problem and at the same time introduces certain philosophical things, like metaphysical mushi. You can always come out of the show with a different perspective and/or an appreciation for this anime or even your own life.
Since this is an episodic case, there are so many stories in this series that you have probably forgotten at least some of them.
5. natsume’s friends book
Actually, take what I said about the last two entries and you’ll understand my reasoning for this anime.
Natsume’s Book of Friends contains many stories, and they all deal with a more human problem, which makes it different as you get older.
And on the other hand, the show is so warm and cuddly, and I just want to snuggle up to Madara.
So there should be something for you if you want to check it again.
4th Academy of Little Witches
I really love Atsuko and I will follow her to the end of the world.
His underdog story is so inspiring, sweet and helpful that I don’t want to miss a second of it.
So, honestly, they could make an anime cooking show, and as long as she is the lead, I would watch it.
But until Little Witch Bakery becomes a reality, I’ll probably watch this show over and over again, not that I’m complaining or anything.
3. My Neighbor Totoro.
I don’t know if I should include this film because I have the impression that people are already religiously critical of it a few years apart.

Plus, the show is so calm and funny without even trying. It’s just a breeze to get excited.
It’s probably the only anime I’ve seen that works perfectly with the old technology of traditional cable television.
And if it works on TV, you know it has that sweet revenge value.
1. The Strange JoJo Adventure.
Like Gintama, JoJo is also a way of life.
They sleep, eat, breathe and think about JoJo.
In each scene, you will either say “Oh my God, this is the meme” or “Oh my God, this scene should definitely be the meme.”
Any way you look at it, JoJo is so powerful that you can’t escape his grasp. And the meme swap will largely be in your favor if you get him to rewind the show every year or so.
